Great for if you need a single connector/adapter (grey out of stock, but plenty in green). High pressure nozzle attachments; some $2.70 Jute Garden Twine - take your pick!

Maybe you just bought from here and since been eyeing some attachments/adapters

Shipping often kills the deals at Hoselink and there are no resellers; so get in quick for those standard hose adapters which should come standard on the hose reels, but don't - for your kids toys, sprinklers, and pressure washers - or replace a just out of warranty burst "non-burst" hose fitting!

Enjoy!

Edit: Also $10 off $50 spend with email sign up, thanks @Lizard Spock (may not stack, req. $100 spend for free shipping without code)

  • Has anyone tried their 9 pattern sprinkler? Need a decent sprinkler for my yard.

I bought this last week actually. It's pretty good as long as you have decent water pressure.

    • +2

I have had it for about 6 months, really good for me. Very solid unit and works great

  • Personally I haven't used any of their solar lights or garden tools, but experience with hoses has been okay. I believe their older ones ~2-3 years ago were of higher quality, as I've had one for 2 years now, and previously used an older Hoselink without issue. Newer models had a few retraction issues, and a burst fitting. They were in warranty though, and replaced quickly. Otherwise spray gun has been great. Will be trying one of the brass fitting pressure nozzles to clean pool cartridge filter in this sale.

Mid year performance reviews coming up at work however - anyone tried these?

Not sure how much the mat will help with the pineapple?

    • I use strap-on knee pads. The velcro on my Trojans can irritate bare legs but being always on makes moving easier.

    • If recent Hoselink stuff is lower quality, it's now on my 'never' list, despite the need for a secure connection to a movement activated garden pest deterrent spray. I tried HL about 8 years ago. I do like the solid grip to the hose. The spray was rubbish, leaking in about 6 months. Regularly, one of the o-rings dropped out of a connector. I had to claim warranty on something (forget what). The apology was as smarmy as you see in a reply to a complaint on the productreview website.

I moved back to regular fitting, figuring I'd rather deal with the connector slipping off the hose occasionally than the problems I had with Hoselink, but it would be nice to find a regular connector that doesn't slip off the hose as you hold the spray moving through the garden. So far, the best hanger on is the cheap fitting that came with my pressure spray!

  • The hoselink proprietary connector broke on mine which is 2 years old. Replaced with a brass one from bunnings. Good retractable hose but the connectors are rubbish

    • Never had a hoselink connector break over 10+ years.

But I have had the jet nozzle break, and the seven pattern guns are rubbish.

Cheers. Finally worth it to just order the click on adapter :D

Just started using some of their hose connections, a high pressure nozzle and oscillating sprinkler recently and the quality is great.
That oscillating sprinkler is a beast! Metal body and the ability to shut off the 3 jets on each side, as well as adjust the flow. I run it off an 18mm hose from my water tank and the water stream is wide and far. Great for my large yards.
The high pressure nozzle (called Blaster) is great and it blasts a solid stream of water quite far. I wash down my solar panels with it and hose out the chicken coops with ease with that thing connected.

Definitely grabbing some more of their stuff during this promo.

The only issue I have with hose link is their product reviews are clearly manipulated. I remember years ago when they brought out the flow control adapters and there was a design fault with them. They wouldn't post my negative review.

  • Would anyone know what I'll need to connect to a foam cannon for car wash and if there's a value for money cannon you'd recommend?

  • what's the longevity like on these?

i bought the highest kink-resistance Hills hose and i'm a bit dissappointed it's showing signs of cracking up after having just two years. been in the sun a bit, but not full-time. i hoped their UV resistance might have been a bit better than that

  • Thanks! Needed a hose repair kit but didn’t want to pay for shipping!

  • How does Hoselink compare to Starlink?

What gives internet, and the other gives water

  • Thanks OP. Finally got the click on standard hose adapter !

One of the few standard fittings that still exists and someone - Hoselink - still had to enter the market with a proprietary connector just to make you buy they own attachments and not a competitors.

Not a fan. There are heaps of high quality 12mm hoses/fittings/attachments that are great and interchangeable should something break.

  • Would not recommend. I had 3 problems with burst fittings on mine within a year of purchase. After 2 warranty replacements, I ended up refunding the whole thing as a major fault under ACL.

Funnily enough, hoselink refunded me but didn’t want the reel back. I ended up replacing all the fittings with decent brass ones from Bunnings and still use the reel to this day. There is just nothing hoselink specific left on it.

    Decent hose, terrible connectors.
