Here are some "practice" questions that can help you with your exam. Double check the answers, someone in the comments mentioned that the questions are spot on but some answers may not be right.

I am new to programing. Does anyone know how long exam preparation takes for a newbie. 8 years ago, I did C & C++ at Uni. but not much after that.
I was looking forward to booking the exam in Feb 2013 but dates are showing till December end only.
1.5 month is enough for preparation?
it only shows up to Dec because you can only schedule the exam for up to 8 weeks in advance.
However from what i can see you can schedule the exam now for the last available day.. And you can reschedule the exam to a later date in the future, provided it is at-least 24 hours till your exam date.
Oh for those who want to know the process.
1) Register
2) Find your exam. Look for 070-480 in the poorly designed list (FAIL design)
3) Book a schedule. Find your preferred location. (Sydney CBD are on page 3)
3) Go to the payments page. and enter in your promotion code. HTMLJMP
4) Confirm it cost $0.
5) Learn HTML5 if you don't already know it.

I tried rescheduling went through without a problem. Though there is a limit. Appears you MUST sit the exam within 1 year of the original booking date.

Hello , one small update, you can spot the same offer in MSDN home site(www.msdn.com) along with the free tutorial for this free exam. I just registered, but in Prometric site the given voucher is detecting as a promotion code, so make sure to select Promotion code.
Opps lol^^ you need to reschedule within 16 days of your exam Otherwise there is a fee to reschedule. Which means since im not ready its just gonna to be a "No show" on my profile lol.
Shame you know i would have done it earlier.

After i took a quick look at the book i'm not so keen for certification will take abit of effort.
Just tried to retake the exam because I got to two days out from the exam and it wanted to charge me $30 to reschedule. I cannot retake the exam.
Nice. Might not ever use it, but why not, it's free and will come in handy I'm sure. I'm forever trying to write HTML5 webpages
