On sale is this newly released tablet which I believe is the first one to feature a 4K resolution display. This paired with thew 12.4" IPS display, Hi-Res audio certified quad speakers, 512GB of inbuilt storage and the large 10800mAh battery makes it perfect for media consumption.

Edit: May not be true 4K afterall . AliExpress will typically give partial refunds for deceptive descriptions.

Features include Android 14 with Google Play, 8GB RAM (+12GB virtual RAM), 512GB uMCP storage (microSD support), MediaTek Helio G99 CPU, 10800mAh battery with 33W USB-C fast charging, reverse charging support, 50MP + 2MP rear cameras, 20MP front camera, side fingerprint recognition, 4G with B28 & dual SIM, 4096-level pressure active stylus support, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and supports an optional magnetic keyboard.

While this does support Widevine L1 DRM it's not clear if it supports Netflix HD, however a lot of other Chinese tabs are starting to support it. The MediaTek Helio G99 isn't the most high end CPU but still perfectly fine for gaming. If you're not interested in the 4K display, the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022 or Pro 2023 may be better value.

Nice Clear, have you tried Doogee before?

Never but I am known to boogee.

    • used to have one of their ruggedised phones …never had issues, apps ran and phone worked.

Lol the 4th photo says 14 inch

Some of us are known to exaggerate.

  • +2

Narrator: Roly, isn't it time for….
    Roly: DOOGEE!

  • Eh… Display resolution: 2560*1600

    • I completely missed that part. Upscaled or a typo maybe.

      • How likely do you think AliExpress would give partial refund? Because it is stated in the specs it's a 1600p screen. Also don't you have to deal with dogee, not AliExpress?

        • The dispute process goes through AliExpress and AliExpress have the final judgement if you reject any seller offered solutions. You could argue the title and images say 4K.

          • @Clear: Hmm… $170 for a12.4" 1600p tablet with 4096 pressure (though 1024 pressure supplied stylus) Do I dare 🤔

            • @quill: has android 14, will it get android 15 or just bin a few years when battery life is short. android 13 to 14 didn’t seem much of an upgrade so hard to know what the future holds or upgrades are more about security and bug fixes than new features.

        • You could buy it, and then look to claim compensation for deceptive listings. Just blame it on the Doogee.

  • It could be like projectors when it says 1080p, when it's 1080p supported, or Usb hubs when 4k means 4k 30hz

  • Confirmed, not 4k, actually 2560*1600 here https://youtu.be/L22tydmxJac at 3:35. And https://m.gsmarena.com/doogee_t30_max-12869.php Maybe you could buy then claim partial refund for deceptive stats 🤔 Got half back for npad for lying about 8gb ram when it was actually 4gb plus 4gb virtual ram

  • Is it really 4k? Seems like a lot of pixels for 330 dollars. Description says 2560x1600

it’s not bad if you want an android tablet .. better than a phone when at home on the couch or in bed or on the toilet.

      • yeah nice big tablet for some YouTube or Netflix in bed

  • Teach me how to Doogee, teach me teach how to Doogee

  • @Clear what would you consider to be the best budget 10-inch option?

    • Depends what you're after. A lot of them are pretty similar in the budget space and comes down to whether or not you want Netflix.

      • Mostly media consumption, but my primary reasoning for a 10" option was for travel. Looking back through your post history though, I think the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022 or 2023 models at 11" would be a good option.

Thanks for all your posts and comments btw - I can see that you contribute a lot to this community!

        • Yeah they're pretty much the best value tablets you can buy right now.

  • Hmmm tempting. But there are no details if there'll be system + security updates/upgrades.

    • I've got the previous model doogee t30 pro. It has been getting regular security updates each month.

Great well made tablets for this price range, helio g99 is a good CPU and can emulate up to some PS2 games
