This will go from free to paid.

A Dashboard Application for VR, that allows you to access many settings, and provide a litany of utility features, such as timers, audio settings, push-to-talk and more.

I Bring a bit of bitter-sweet news but the short version is below.

on or about 4/15/24 (april 15th 2024) OVR Advanced Settings will no longer be free it will cost $7.99 (and adjusted regionally).

  • If you already use/own OVRAS on Steam, you will not need to purchase it.
  • You have until 4/14/24 to add/download it for free, at which point it will be paid.
  • It will cost $7.99.

    Thanks for letting us know about this. I only focus on games that are heavily discounted, and miss freebies that are transitioning to payware. A same thing happened to same freeware I used a while ago. Freeware application get LOTS of downloads (people love free stuff), so authors are tempted by the dark side and commercialized their software. People respond by: a) not upgrading from the free version; b) using a different program if they cannot find a copy of the old freeware version; or c) pirating the new payware version.
