Might want to put the start time more prominently in the title / body….took me a minute to realise the sale doesn't start until this evening.

Autobarn 20% off too , and repco 20-40% too

    • +1

Thanks, the bowdens product i was looking at is cheapest at repco

      • No worries, never pay attention to Bowden stuffs till you mentioned it, looks pretty good ..Ta.

        • +1

Australian made, good quality, decently priced. Ive found some of the cheaper products leave stains on interior trim. Never had any issues with bowdens products.

Bought a couple things for the car the other day, looking forward to a nice loyalty credit.

    • +1

Does this happen automatically or do you have to hit them up

      • Should be automatic - and they'll usually email you a notification.

If you shop there regularly and will use the credit it's a good way to get stuff on sale before it goes on sale and the stock sells out. Just buy it before the sale and get the credit.

Thanks OP, I need to replace the tissue box and used lip balm in the Camry.

    • +1

I need some mock chequerplate seat covers and a faux wood steering wheel cover for mine.

    • +3

Is this a joke? I tried searching their site for lip balm and the cheapest hit was "kok seal" at 10.79.

  • Do supercheap have a price protection guarantee? Purchased something yesterday, will they refund / credit the difference if it goes on sale tonight?

    • +4

Store credit of the difference for items bought with two weeks

      • Cheers!

      • Guessing will have to do it in-store rather than sending them a request online?

        • +2

If you're a member it should be automatic - no need to do anything. Maybe take a screen shot of the new price in case you need to follow up later.

There is also 10% cashback on gift cards from shopback

    • -1

      Delete, found it.

But only $50 denominations, max 3 per purchase

    • Also 3% from Cashrewards if, like me, you’re not a fan of Shopback. Then 2.8% cashback on purchases.

      • +2

        Arnt they both samey samey?

    • I cant seem to find the 10% cashback only showing 2.8 for me. Am i missing something?

      • +2

Look for ‘The Super $50 Gift Card’. It’s a swap card for SCA, BCF, MacPac and Rebel’.

        • +1

Its a discount code applied in the promo code section

  • What's the deal I paid full price for a s rewdriver set that was meant to be $35 same as paying for some bbq Bridgette's that was meant to be free from AO

  • Does 'no rainchecks' mean no click and collect, I wonder?

    • +3

Pretty sure "no rainchecks", means "no rainchecks". So click and collect will be fine.

    • Nope. Its a normal condition for all their sales.

      Just no rainchecks.

    • +2

I did have a chuckle at Aureus' reply I must admit… But for what it's worth a 'rain check' if a bit of an old term that was used much more widely before online ordering was a thing and is still hanging around (somewhat). Basically if you turn up with your catalogue and something isn't in stock they could 'rain check' it and you'd get it for the catalogue price once it was back in stock.

Nowdays stock and sales are much more tightly managed and this sort of thing can lose the business a good chunk of money and add complexity. So they tend to always have the exclusion during sales. Often you can order something in even if out of stock, but it requires payment up front. Whereas a rain check you'd get a coupon or similar and pay when it was back in stock (which again, may cause issues with their inventory systems).

      • Coles does em. Woolies post covid never returned but promised :(

  • Any recommendations for 2 front floor mats? Are the expensive worth paying for.

    • +3

I just use a cardboard box and throw it away when it gets dirty

      • I actually do this when I'm going bush or somewhere dirty / muddy. At the end just throw them on the fire (great crescendo too) and job done.

        • I did this in my new ute. Carpet floor mat then rubber on top of that then cardboard

    • +4

I always get a carpet offcut from a carpet shop, trace my exact floorpan on the back, then get it edged with poly wool.

Perfectly fomed for my car, so no slipping, super plush, and a total cost of about $30 getting the edges 'bound'.

      • +1

Any carpet shop? Some I've been to try to sell me in-store carpet display samples.

      • That would be easier to vacuum as well.

    • +1

Depends on your vehicle. Fitted TPE is the benchmark. Try ebay/google for your make/model

      • Good tip. I've never heard of thermoplastic elastomers/rubbers (TPE) floor mats before, looks like moulded rubber.

        • +1

Moulded plastic, much lighter than rubber, no smell, very hard wearing, easy to clean, and should fit tyour footwell perfectly - ie little room for dirt to get on your carpet. There are also rear seat and boot versions for many vehicles

  • Any quality tool bargain recommendations? Excludes Kincrome - half the store gone lol

  • Will the items already on clearance go for a further 50% discount too?

  • Pity tyres are excluded from the sale. On the look out for two tyres for my car atm.

Any good parts organizers from SCA that people can vouch for? Looking for good balance of quality/cost for organizing screws + small parts.

  • The price is coming up wrong in the cart for the extension lead I'm looking at. Website says 35.99 but the cart says 39.99.
Turns out the correct price shows if I log out and pay as a guest. I guess it had a members price that isn't updated.

  • Some really cheap prices on bulk Trade Direct stuff. I haven't used it but bought quite a bit. Stuff like
    fuel treatment , diesel 5 l $57,
    injector cleaner 5l $47
    windscreen cleaner (5 litres $13.59),
caravan wash, Engine oil flush (5 litres $41.59),
    wheel cleaner (5 l $12.79),
gritty citrus hand cleaner 5l $23.19)

    Also 20 litres

  • Any recommendations for degreaser?

    • Sugarsoap.

      Otherwise brake cleaner.

Cheap hydrocarbon degreasers are more trouble than theyre worth.

  • +1

If your item is on a MEMBERS ONLY PRICE you will need to log out and complete the purchase as a guest or the discount won't apply

  • Also double check your Commbank Yello rewards for an additional 10% off code. Just used that + the Shopback giftcards.

    • How does that work, the yello code says "excludes items already on sale"

          • 2.8% CB from SB if you via them or 2.10% CB from CR - my CR tracked :)
  • I still think they are a bit expensive. Narva H7 globes @ Bunnings is on special for $12.79, however Supercheap sells for $23.99 for the same globe - checked the model no. - 48328BL.😔

    I have enough riveters already.

    • This has terrible reviews and seems like a waste of money.

    Kudos to supercheap.

Bought a whole bunch of stuff last week via my account. Went on sale this week and the difference was automatically credited by my superchrap account.

    • Do the store credit have an expiry date?

Edit: A month from original date of purchase, just logged on to my account to check.
