Bali or Indonesia

My family is heading to Bali during school holidays. I'm looking at travel insurance, when asks which country you travelling to it allows for Bali. I thought it should be Indonesia. Which one is correct?

They've probably needed to put both two names because a lot of bogans travelling to Bali may not even know it's part of Indonesia. 😆

travelling to it allows for Bali. I thought it should be Indonesia.

Likely due to the numbers that travel only to Bali rather than visiting the entire country of Indonesia, the selection for just the region of Bali is given as a valid choice. If Bali is provided as a choice and you are not leaving the island, then it would seem which ever is cheaper is the correct choice :)

  • Ok thanks guys. Bought it under Bali.

  • A lot of people who go to Bali visit Gili T with is Lombok..

When i arrived back into Brisbane from Bali last year there was a sign at customs directing travellers returning from Indonesia into a sepeate line due to the foot and mouth risk.

We were i think the only flight to arrive at that time of the morning so it was obvious >50% of people didnt realise they just got off a plane from Indo.
