This looks good. On the exclusions I can't see Amazon gift cards excluded. Unless I am reading it wrong.

Cashback terms and exclusions

What will stop me getting my cashback?

  • Using a discount code or voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.

  • Cashback is ineligible on the following purchases - Category Choice eGift Card range, Giftz eGift Card, Mobile Pay digital Mastercard, Spending Money Mastercard, Pocket Money Mastercard, 7-Eleven, Appliances Online, David Jones, Bunnings, Big W, BWS, EG Fuel Card, Dan Murphy's, Woolworths Supermarket, Everyday WISH, Webjet, H&M, Harvey Norman, Flight Centre, and Total Tools. (Last checked 26 April 2024.)

  • If you return or cancel your order then you will no longer be eligible for cashback and you will see the cashback move to Declined in your account.

  • Most retailers calculate the cashback based on the purchase amount excluding taxes and delivery charges. So if your cashback is slightly lower than expected, this will likely be why.

  • Any Missing Cashback Claims must be lodged within 100 days of your purchase.


NOTE: Ultimate gift cards are eligible for 7% cashback, and Activ Visa gift cards are eligible for $2 cashback.

      Yeah, I am surprised that is not in the exclusions.

      • Same, but it’s not excluded from MyAmexShop either (where they’ve been linked for many months) so I’d say it wasn’t just an error. Regardless, might be worth stocking up a bit before they realize.

  • Not using TCB until they track and approve my $200 compare the market CB.

    • For compare the market CB it has this term & condition. Did 90 days passed?

      Cashback will be confirmed after your product/service has been active for at least 30 days. Payment could take up to 50 - 90 days after validation.

        Hasnt even tracked and been over a month.
        Nil response to missing CB inquiry yet.
        Not impressed with TCB Customer service.

        • Oh, that's no good. Have you messaged the rep here? I know they are new here in Australia. There is definitely work to be done.

          • @Scrooge McDeal: Actually just got a generic automated response that they are waiting on response from retailer, i guess they cannot be bothered following up on it.

            • @easternculture: Hi @easternculture I am sorry to hear your transaction did not track. Thank you for putting in a missing cashback claim. Like you would have been already notified, it takes some time to process. Typically, if you put in a claim less than 7 days after your transaction, it would be put on hold for a week, after released from hold, it will then be internally reviewed and then sent to the retailer for review. We try to chase for it to be processed as soon as possible, but it usually takes the retailers a few weeks to review and get back to us. So you did not just get a generic automated response, you got an actual update on the progress of your claim.
              So please bear with us. Once again, it typically takes about 12 weeks for the whole claims process, we are doing our best to get you your cashback. Thank you so much for your patience in the matter.

  • How long does it take for the gift card to show? paying with paypal gave an error, so I chose card in stead, both payments actually went through, its been 30mins but no email about the order yet

    • I made 2 purchases. Paid both via google pay. 1 i received with 2 minutes and the other was about 10 minutes

    • Sometimes email doesn't come through. If you made an account with Giftz click on the person image up top then Account Overview. Tap on My deals next to my profile. Select the order in question then scroll abit down and hit view voucher

    successfully order $50 amazon with cashback tracking when this deal was posted

    several attempts to get another over the past week is met with

    Payment Error:
    Transaction declined. Please contact your Bank or use another card.

    bank says

    it looks like the merchant has immediately rejected the charge after settling it

    and that

    only the merchant will be able to tell you the exact reason why this is happening

    happens with UP bank, UBank and CBA accounts either linked with paypal and entering card numbers directly

    awaiting on email response from merchant

    • Wouldn't recommend Giftz. Similar experience. Multiple declined transactions. One of the transactions wasn't refunded immediately and the charge was left pending. No confirmation email or order number.

      • If you don't login, and send the GC as a gift to yourself it works :)

          used same email address (without logging in), used mobile phone IP address in mobile bing (edge?) browser and used bank card entered directly

  • Just made an eBay gift card order , will see how long it takes to track

  • Bought Officeworks GC yesterday - yet to track. Let's see how long this takes.

      Same here, still nothing tracked for my two separate orders after over 7 business days, time to submit the claims.

    It sometimes can take a little while for some transactions to be reported back to us by the retailers, so we advise to please wait for 7 days for this to track.
