  What's with all the pokemon tcg sales? Have we hit peak pokemon and are now on the decline?

      How is there an overvaluing of certain cards when the open market sets the price of one of the most popular cards in the last 5 years? People just lazily assume high pop card should naturally just be low in price. If there is a high pop, but a high demand - why would a price be low? I've got pop <15 cards in PSA 10 that nobody could care less about - by your logic, their price should be extremely high, but they aren't.

      Too many idiots investing, not enough general collecting.

      People are collecting. Umbreon is a hugely popular Pokemon, people want that card for their collection. Simple.

        Japanese 151 is getting a large reprint, which is confirmed.

        SWSH is going out of print hence the bigly price rises as of late.

        SV supposedly had a smaller print run compared to SWSH but source for that atm is just "trust me bro".

          @pharcyde: Yeah I read about the Japanese reprint - but I imagine if English 151 was getting a reprint it would've happened by now?

          Unless they combine the reprints with old stock to move it.

            @CharcoaI: Japanese 151 has been out for almost a year. English 151 has only been out since Sep 2023. There is no reprint for English 151 confirmed but they would be stupid not to.

  So I opened mine up this morning, out of the 10 packs I received 2 gallery cards, 1 lousy radiant, a couple of holos and a Zamazenta VStar.

  Pretty disappointed, I had really good pulls with the Zamazenta/Zacian and Pikachu boxes from Kmart a few months back.
