Seems like a decent price for an entry level Micro Four Thirds camera. Cheapest that I can find imported elsewhere is from DWI for $370.

  Do these come with the collapsible X lens, or just the old-style lens?

    From the looks of the picture, it is the old style lens.
    Usually costs around $80-100 more expensive for the Motorised X Series Pancake 14-42 Lens.

  Spend a little more and get the bigger sensor Sony NEX5n. NEX will blow it with the pic quality.

    I got the GX1 over the NEX5N because of the following 2 reasons:
    1. GX1 has inbuilt flash.
    2. NEX5N last time i researched about it, had video clicking issues, which supposedly was a hardware fault not software, and it was all luck of draw if you had the issue or not.

    Pic quality isn't that much different, yes it has bigger sensor however you can look up comparisons online and the quality isn't really noticeable.
