    How is the cold drip/brew?? Is my main interest.. Since I moved I have been stuck on instant just waiting for the right purchase :) ?

      Comparing it to our diy cold brew, it actually tastes similar! I prefer the taste of the cold brew vs the hot lol. My partner was amazed how similar it tasted as he was doing diy cold brew in a big jug before we got it.

    I own this one and have been using it for over a year now. Please keep in mind that the milk frother for hot beverages will deteriorate in its performance after a few months i.e. will spit out steam with very little froth. The frother would have to be filled with milk at max level, in order to get a decent amount of frothed milk out, otherwise always have to run the Milk function again to compensate after every/any coffee cycle. The cold frothing jug seems to work fine, its just the hot milk frother that does that and hey, finding a replacement hot milk frother jug/attachment is tricky. Just my thoughts from using it so far.

      You have to clean the carafe properly. Soak with warm water and few drops of detergent for at least half and hour to melt out the build ups inside, disassemble the parts and then chuck it in the dishwasher for even more through clean. Also recommended to use plant based milk. Handy to have a spare carafe. We deep clean our carafe at less once a week or every time we finish a litre of milk box.

      We would only have problems when it is not throughly cleaned.

      Also clean your brewer often to clear the oil build up. This will affect how your brew is produced as well.

      I’ve been doing the recommended maintenance by Delonghi and haven’t had major issues.

        Nice machine but too much effort to maintain it, so we just go back to coffee pod and microwave milk, and occasionally buy coffee outside.

      Exactly the same thing has happened to me.
      Bought it back in November 2023, during the great Ozbargain delonghi purge with the two stackable voucher codes.

      After a while on the highest froth setting just hot milk comes out no froth. But if you turn it past the this setting setting towards the word clean and just cover the C and the L or just before the clean program kicks in, it comes out thick and frothy as it did in the highest setting when I first got it. I’ve rang them up. They weren’t aware of the problem. They asked me for video of the problem
      and they’re sending me a hot milk container in about a month when they have stock. I asked for replacement both hot and cold frother but they’re just sending me the hot one so hopefully the same thing doesn’t happen eventually to the cold one which I hardly use.

      Other than that , great machine

    Great machine. The promo is pretty decent. Got the glasses in the last one and use them daily. Cannister would be more useful than the coffee pot I got. Last promo had a significant cashback component as well, so it could be worth waiting perhaps a little longer to see if that happens.

    I got this at JBHIFI 4 months ago for $1299 with the explore pack from delonghi(via grace redemption as JB messed up the promo). Must wait, the price will drop.

    I picked this up for $1200 with the CBA 30% off coupon during Black Friday/Cyber Monday. CashRewards also paid out 15% which I was surprised to get!

    This weekend we cracked 1,000 cups of coffee since we started running it in early December. We have an addiction problem, but at least it is a less expensive problem than when we were buying cafe coffees!

    Coffee machine is excellent! 10/10 would recommend. If you are patient you should be able to get it on a better deal. If you're not fussed about the aesthetics, I believe the Dinamica Plus has the same internals as this machine but is much cheaper.
