I have the 100w one and I’m struggling to keep the prongs plugged into the socket on some power boards etc. does anyone suggest any solutions or maybe if I get a power board that the sockets are in the middle instead of to one side that might help? What if I was to mount it on the wall or something?
Squeeze the prongs together or twist them a bit so they're out of skew and their resulting spring against the socket will keep the plug in.
I tend to roll my eyes at the "heymix bad" line that the morons on here parrot endlessly about USB chargers, since the self proclaimed electrical engineers in the peanut gallery don't have any clue, but that is actually dodgy as (profanity). That is completely unsuitable and should be thrown out
@Ezekiel2320: I would agree if it was on every port but it gets pretty flush on another wall socket that I just tried so it seems to work good enough for me (https://imgur.com/a/YQT3tEZ) my thinking is maybe if I get a different powerboard that makes the balance of the power adapter better? I just came back from japan and one of my hotels I stayed in had a powersocket flat facing up on a bedside shelf per say and that was perfect
@ThatNintendoKid: Yeah that twist should've helped. Maybe bend them in too. Seems you have a combo of a cheap powerboard plus this cheap charger adding up to a bad scenario. Maybe use some caution and not have it in that powerboard but use it where it fits better
@afoveht: Yeah I think I'll have to switch powerboards or even just worst case scenario get a bit of duct tape to keep it in place I suppose
Are you sure that the prongs aren't loose on the charger? e.g. Do they move in and out if you push and pull on them?
Yes I'm sure this particular design actually has a button lock that you need to press and hold in order to retract them.

I’ve been lured by their low prices before but will NEVER buy Heymix again. Literally had Heymix chargers that have melted.
They no longer use use the Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) on their products because they were caught reusing the same certification for completely different products.
