iPhone Wall Charger

Hi all , looking for the best iPhone wall charger. I have brought so so many different phone charging cords over the months but they all seem to just snap off or the cord breaks . Instead of wasting money & adding to land fill I’m hoping to find one that lasts.

Thanks

Been havin a good time with my Belkin and Anker cables.

  • Not what you asked but I purchased a $20 comsol wireless charger and it’s my best recent purchase. Only 15W so takes about 2 hours for a fully charge my iPhone. But no need to worry about damaging cables. There are better ones in the market for faster charging. Worth a thought.

  • are you lookng for the charger or the cables?

Lots of decent ones on Amazon - just avoid heymix and anything else that's highly rateed should be good (UGreen, Anker, etc)

Even the latest iPhone is capped at <30W so unless you're also using the charger for other things anything over that is a waste.

As for the cable, check transfer speeds if you use it for that purpose, besides that make sure it's capable of handing the powder delivery and you'll be fine. Get a braided one for durability. I'm not sure how you're able to run through so many cables in such a short period of time?

Personally I use a 2m 65W laptop charger for everything as it's much thicker.

  • More info would be handy.

    What model of IPhone?
As that will determine whether USB C or not.

I recently bought a 30W USB C wall plug off Amazon for $30 or so (just plug, not cable) - for my google pixel 8 pro.

If want a cable that lasts - look at something that is braided (more expensive) + strengthening towards the ends (that area seems to break first, due to lots of movement/pressure at that point).

  • You need the USB C to lightening/USB C to get fast charging. And a compatible charger, but most these days will be capable of fast charging an iPhone. I'd buy genuine but any certified cable or plug should work just fine.

You also have MagSafe option, I tend to use that most of the time. It's convenient.

  • The recommendation I can give based on my use case are the Belkin braided USB-A to Lightning cables from JB Hi-Fi. The current cable I has been fine for at least the last 4 years.

  • Companies like Belkin and Cygnett are approved Apple 3rd party suppliers. The braided ones from Belkin are the toughest.
