    • Got my Argus 3p’s from eBay with one of their 17% off vouchers a couple months ago for $283 for a two pack, new.

    • Mate , used product, only has 1 year warranty

Where new one has 2 years plus 6 months extended

      • It says "Limited Warranty 2-year limited warranty"

        • another six month, when you click one button to register your product

          • @jjj123: ill give it a go now. Received them yesterday. Seems very good.

    I have 3 of these
    Love them

    • Have you found any way to get them to record for more than 30 seconds, or start recording without such a long delay at the start.

I’ve tried tweaking plenty of settings, but nothing has had the desired effect. Which is a shame, because aside from those two flaws, they’ve operated really well for such a budget light - and with minimal cabling thanks to the included solar kits.

  • I got one of these recently. Needs a microSD card for recording, but I had a spare lying around.

Viewing live is fine, but not a fan of detection and recording. From the clips I've viewed it seems to take around 5-10 seconds from motion sensing / detection for recording to start, so you miss the actual detection. This is what makes the battery life decent, and you'll probably kill the battery relatively quickly if you tried to stream 24/7 to record from some other device.

Haven't installed the solar yet as I'll switch to PoE cameras whenever I get the cabling installed.

    • Agreed.

The excessive delay to record is a killer.

The solar panels mean the cameras typically sit at 100% power, and even after live viewing or a dozen 30 second recording clips (another painful limitation) I’ve never seen power dip below 90%, so they seem relatively efficient. It’s just a shame that the PIR takes so long to kick in and start recording.

  • Facts …

Reolink has problem aligning its sales channel

Reolink website often displays inflated price. RRP listed in Reolink is not the real number. It is a matter of time before regulators take action for misleading advertisement.

Catch & Aliexpress mydeal are much cheaper than Reolink.
