this is part of The School Locker sale, but it’s kind of a unique product so thought it was worth its own post.

USB-C to 3.5mm (wired headphones) adapter with an extra female USB-C port that supports pass-through USB PD charging of device (I would expect 20w max but might be higher).

Cygnett images show it working with both Android phone and iPad.

one review says their headphone mic didn’t work through it so something to be aware of. might be caused by a TRS/TRRS difference though.

most of my audio devices are Bluetooth but could be useful to someone.

  Explanation for smooth brains that don’t get what it is:

  for devices that don’t have 3.5mm headphone jack, this allows you to listen to wired headphones while you charge USB-C PD. (with a normal dongle it’s either listen OR charge you can’t do both)

    the one linked allows charging at the same time you use your wired headphones, the one you linked does not.

  If someone looking for a cheap powerbank. See few cygnett on their eBay store. Not sure about the $10 shipping though.
