RRP $189.95 And once sold for $14.95. lol.

        Operative word being "once".

    • +1

Not the same item. This one comes with the messy soap dispenser.

    • Sold out in 10 minutes…

As per the cryptic comment above - not the chepest, but relateively cheap.

OzB's fav dish rack, for some reason. Lots of past deals to skim if you're not sure if your interior is ready for this style.

Fourth photo from the top shows a couple of items that are not included.

    • +1

Is the cheapest as this deal comes with the messy soap dispenser.

Why not buy a dishwasher though? It'll pay for itself in water and energy savings eventually compared to handwashing.

      • Personally, I have nowhere to fit a dishwasher without doing an entire kitchen remodel, which I neither have the money nor the skills for. Next house I buy I won't make that mistake.

      • There're too many reasons why a person wouldn't just buy a dishwasher.

      • +2

        ¿Porque no los dos?

      • Some items shouldn't go in the dishwasher e.g., food prep knives and teflon-coated pans.

        • Non stick pans are really easy to hand wash anyway. I love non stick pans, I don't even care if I have teflon in my blood stream because of it.

Just got one for $50 the other week, feels like a good purchase. Beats the old IKEA one

    • Silly me, I paid the "bargain" price of $75.00 at the last Amazon AU 'Back Friday' sale. It's still a good buy compared with all the old cheap dish racks I have had to toss because they rusted/fell apart over the years. This rack is very versatile and space efficient and expands when needed. I now barely use the dish washer.

Have this at home. Very happy with it. Unit is very sturdy, appears to have been made with good materials.

Does its job, with no fuss, no leaks. Would recommend. Have seen (but not tried) cheaper ones that appear flimsy and unlikely to last.

    • +1

It leaks actually when you extend sometimes

  • yeah its not bad. It does leak a little when you stretch it out more. Otherwise, sturdy and won't rust… well not yet anyway.

$42 for a dish rack that looks like it holds sweet f all is lol.

    • +4

It exends so it holds a few SFAs.

  • I bought this for a tad more, extremely happy with it. Looks great and hasn't had the leaking issues some customers mentioned. I recommend washing the dish rack every couple of weeks as the 'gunk' build up may prevent it from draining properly.

    • What gunk? If it's only used for clean dishes wouldn't it just be regular water running off it?

      • +1

With anything that gets 'wet' you should clean them every so often. Dishrack, sink, shower, bathtub etc.

        • The things you referenced aren’t solely exposed to clean water, it’s not comparable items. And I do clean my disk rack, but not because of gunk, just general surface dust and because I’m anxious about cleanliness - but why I asked is because you said ”gunk” is enough to be blocking drainage. I was going to suggest there may be a problem with your dishwashing liquid if you are experiencing that.

  • If it wasn't so ugly design wise, it'd be a no brainer

    • @ExpressCoffee …. wow you actually prefer 'form over function'? It's a dish rack not a late model Ferrari ;)

      • lol

  • Thanks Thanks!

  • Bought this 2 days ago at $49.95, the item hasn’t arrive yet, what option do I have?

Use the Price drop protection button in your Ozbargain Premium dashboard.

Remember you will need to follow ALL the steps.

Ie. Make sure you include both Ozbargain urls for the dishrack and of course scan the receipt (scanning best done beforehand not during the process).

I, for one, have fallen out of love with this brand.

I so wanted to love them.

    • Must have been some expensive courtship.

      • so much promise, breaks my heart to say I am mildly underwhelmed with most of their product - given the price paid.

the green mandoline is the exception, love that thing.

my conclusion is they have great product designers in terms of their product aesthetic and concept, but insufficient product testing.

  • I have this. Rack is great. Soap dispenser is junk. Barely pumped out liquid and broke within two days if use. Just need to go through the return process to get a new one.

Other posts have users reporting issues with the dispenser.

Buy it if you want a dishrack, with the dispenser a hit or miss bonus.

  • I’ve had this dish rack and really hated it. Water sat in the bottom which quickly turned to gunk and it was ugly. Donated it to Vinnies a few months later because I couldn’t be bothered with the constant tedious cleaning.

My recommendation for best dish rack (only works if you have a dishwasher):

    https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/nyskoeljd-dish-drying-mat-dark-…

Keeps you disciplined. Doesn’t rust, doesn’t get grotty. Just put it in the laundry once in a while (buy two so you can rotate).

    • With that logic, what's wrong with a regular kitchen towel to put plates on, flat, to dry for days?

    • That's a terrible idea for cutlery or knives that's can't go in the dishwasher.

      • I'm just sharing what works for me. Knives that don't go in the dishwasher get dried straight away and put away. When we had a drying rack we would be lazy and let things pile up. Now there are at most a handful of things left to dry with the majority being dried and out away straight away.

If we need more drip drying space we put out a tea towel. But it lends a sense of temporariness which encourages packing away.

Didn't say you had to use my method, no need to dismiss it as terrible particularly if you haven't even tried it. This is everything that is wrong with ozbargain comments. Be nicer next time.

  • Been rocking my $10 Kmart 2-tiered dish rack for the last 5 years.

  • I have the duo version and I personally don't like it

It doesn't store much and pots constantly fall. You really need to stick a chopping board behind it to stablize everything. I do like the extendable rack though, great for mugs and plastic cups

  • Not as snazzy looking but I have this one and it’s been magnificent https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/196132474340. It holds so much and everything drains away easily
