  • Thanks OP. The filter costs around $100. How often do we change it? Do you think the filter is expensive?

I have this unit and it’s great.
Things to be aware of: the UV light bulb needs replacing approx every 6 months. Same with the charcoal filter. HEPA filter about every 12-18 months.
Overall it does an amazing job at reducing dust and cooking smells.

    • Recommend reviewing using the UV function. Most purifiers with UV generate ozone and can sometimes create VOCs. It's one of the reasons units with UV were not included in the VIC government school tender.

      • Good to know! Cheers!

U can wash the outside of the filter on these… It's pretty good, and U can buy replacement filters on Amazon if needed.

  • How does this compare to Coway Airmega 150?

    • I like my one. Looks minimal and doesnt take up a lot of space. Easy to clean and maintain. Filter replacements are not super expensive on amazon (vs this trusens). No smarts though but it works well with my meross smart plug for auto on and off.

      • Can it adjust speed based on air quality indicator?

          Yes it has auto mode

The Conway is significantly quieter at the highest speed 52dBA vs 66dBA. 66dBA is incredibly loud for an air purifier. The massive Samsung ax90 hits 56dBA at top speed and delivers more than double CADR.

  • Yeah checked the filter cost on these, even third party ones are around 100+ on average.

  • I am curious to find out why Trusens is not selling the Smart Z-2500 and Z-3500 in Australia.
These newer models can setup on/off schedules through the app which is very convenient.

    • plenty of other purifiers have wifi
