    This wasn't affected by firmware update issues? I just bought an older Hyper X wireless headset and am a little concerned about it getting bricked.

  I've owned these for a year. I've only charged it like 6 times. It's really a game changer in that regard. Audio is decent too.

  If anyone is still keen for a pair I have one priced matched with JB but they added the extra care for $177 + $35.40 = $212.40.

  According to the website the extra care has a 15 day cooling off period during which you can cancel for a full refund.
