People will think you're rich from a far at a fraction of the price of beats.

Because most people from OzB have heard beats, and have stated it's as good as $20 headphones.
They also have similar looking ones on K-mart for $20. The beats logo adds $300+ to the price i guess.
If you honestly think $20 headphones sound as good as Beats, clearly there's no point discussing this with you. You'd be looking at $90-$150 for Beats Studio sound quality, $60-$90 for Beats Solos.
Well 20 is exxagerating. 40-60, then yes. Beats driver is no better than the X2 portable speakers you can buy on ebay for under $20.

Ok, rubbish like this really bugs me. Obviously the Beats are very over priced. But if you think they should be priced at $19, you are either are stupid or haven't actually used/seen them. The build quality on them is very nice and the sound is above average. Better than some Sennheisers/Pioneer/Audio-Technica? NO. But decent.
There's this mentality amongst geeks that they must hate on anything that's popular and/or expensive. This doesn't make you look non-conformist or clever, it just makes you look bitter and sad.
Now i hate Beats even more.

I'm not all hate.Missing the point. I'm not pro Beats at all. They are a rip off. My point is the original comment was plain stupid. They are not worth $400, but they are certainly worth more than $19.
That said, it's not my business what others spend their money on. Unlike some people here who always need to attack those who buy expensive items to make themselves feel better.

My beats snapped in half at the headband area. It's a common problem, they aren't quality built.
I actually don't mind splashing on expensive cars or watches but for these headphones?

Hi FreckleNuts (the username is brilliant by the way), although their size is adjustable and although they fit my generously proportioned head fine, I have seen a few people's comments saying that they find it a bit tight. Then again, most of them also say that they open up in time.

So i just got 2 pairs and im more than happy with the sound. Im comparing these to my new Brainwavz M4's so bear with me.
Clarity: 7.5/10
Bass: 6/10 They are not bassy but it does have abit.
Looks: Theyre shiny but not too shiny. Fit over the ear confortably. 7/10
Overall for $20, you cant really go wrong.
I got a pair of these headphones today because I had lost my beats somewhere .
I can say these headphones are really good with a clear sound and they almost look like beats. they also have the plugin you use for beats headphones.
They're very loud and have a good bass
At $20 I am a happy customer..
And christmas around the corner I know what to get for the cuzzies back in NZ since they don't sell the there..
