My tips:
1. Select country/region with no GST (e.g. US California).

3. Remember to turn off auto-renew from their website. For these deals I only turn off auto-renew after I receive the cashback. Not sure if it would affect cashback payment if turned off beforehand.

      They are owned by the same parent company (Cyberspace) - but share different servers

      Surfshark is the Number 2 VPN on the Market with NordVPN only slightly edging them out with more servers and slightly slightly better.

      Pick which ever come is more economical is my recommendation

      Surfshark is absolutely terrible. Constantly flags my I.P as known, always says I'm in Singapore so I can't access websites and puts currency into SGD. Nearly every website claims I'm sus and makes me do captchas (I'm doing 30-50 a day). Some websites flat out banned me.

      Surfshark is completely unusable rubbish. They wouldn't even cancel my account because they claim that they never said their service worked.

      I went straight back to NORD and it absolutely shits on surfshark in every regard. I would say surfshark is actually a scam

      my experience in China this month for 4 weeks, Surfshark at least works for a bit and Nord never worked.

    Any fake "private" notwork paying you is profiting from your data. They all are, but in this case it isn't even questionable.

        well in my case they honoured and refunded me, but then again, if it's not going to work and you need to take the stress of chasing the refund, save the trouble and don't get it in the first place.

          Get back on NORD with a diff email, that's all you need to get a cashback deal. I got a 90% back one only last week.

    only 11 min to purchase so i'll probably not do it this time. But for future reference, what are the speeds like?
    I might be going to america for a few months and figure this might be useful for torrenting over there (apparently some ISPs give you a lot of trouble if you torrent over there)

      Speeds don't look great so far, I'm getting 42mbs with my 100mb dl. Considering the time right now I'm guessing it will drop to around 10-20mbs during peak

      I like the speed (compared to Nord which I had alot of trouble from a previous deal) last I checked off-peak I was getting around 85mb/s and around 60-70 for peak

      Only annoying issue I have so far is that the app would auto connect on laptop/pc sometimes even though auto-start option is off.

      Also annoyed that the closest P2P/torrent server is Singapore although speeds aren't that bad

    I've had a pretty good experience with surfshark, got like 3 years for 90$ or something. Sometimes my ping is a little shonky when im playing games but other than that it's mostly good.
