lublue 60d has 2 brushes this only seems to have one
Haven't opened the lubluelu yet, thinking of returning it to Amazon. Got this instead, hoping it will perform better and last longer, especially since their other models have really good reviews.

From reading the us amazon reviews the mop is a little bit of a letdown. Multiple reviews suggest the mopping section gets dry very quickly and leaves streaks.
Other than that, the reviews are exceptional.
We went from whatever the first Xiaomi was that had a mop to the roborock qrevo. Cleaning-wise it seems similar. Never really had issues with the Xiaomi.
The biggest game changers have been auto emptying dust and water tanks! Its now a fully set and forget machine for a few weeks until the water tank needs replacing (we set mopping once a week only). My partner gets allergies so not having to empty the bin helps with that.
I still have my 1st gen Xiaomi/Roborock vacuum and it's still going strong, and bought an additional (STYJ02YM, Chinese version) with the mop/water tank, and it's been absolutely awful - lots of parts breaking and needing replacing and a massive pain in the ass.
But, I'd have a lot more confidence in Xiaomi/Roborock compared to my experience with this Xiaomi/Mijia/Viomi one.
Thanks mate, yeh I figured if it ain't broke no need to get a new one. The Xiaomi gen1 is legendary status, still going strong.
I don't need a new one just to drag a wet cloth around at the risk of breaking and having more fiddly parts.

Jeez. Ive been umming and ahhing about getting a robot vacuum for years now, never pulling the trigger, and then suddenly this deal comes along on a model I know nothing about, and I buy it without a seconds thought, thanks to FOMO. I hope this model isn't a dud.
As a first purchase into this class of device it's good (especially for the price) but do note that there is much better performing ones available now (particularly the mopping).
Hard to find any with good mopping performance below the $1.5K-$2K mark.
Does this model pair up with any auto empty station?

I dont know much about robot vacs, but can you program them so they don't go into certain rooms or sections of a roometc? dont want them to go to the kids' play room where there's plenty of toys to suck up lol
Yes. After mapping your house, you can select room cleaning or schedule room cleaning. You can add no go zones too if you never want it to go in an area. Check out other Roborock reviews on the vacuum wars YouTube channel. There isn’t a review for this exact models. But they are much the same when it comes to the app features. He does a good job of explaining everything and most of the app features they talk about will be available on this model.

Can this detect dog poop and mop/vacuum around it? My biggest fear is coming home to find my floors completely smeared. I fear the smear!
This model doesn’t have the cameras required for any obstacle avoidance. You’ll need to look at the $1k+ models for that and even then it’s still not 100% perfect.

dont have any experience with robot vaccum's but would this be a better buy than other robot vacuums at an equivalent price with a dock, what makes this vacuum original price so expensive to begin with compared to lubluelu with a dock, on paper dosent seem to be much difference.
How does it handle long hair?

How does the mop function?
I’ve just received this and about to test but I don’t see any water reservoir? How does it wet the floor to clean as a mop?There should be a removable mop plate/pad (separately bagged in the box) which you fill with water and then clip/slide on to the bottom of the vacuum when mopping is required. Note that the mopping plate needs to be removed before vacuuming carpets as this vacuum cannot lift the mop pad.

I think I must have scored the last one. I tried to buy 2 but only got one. Awesome deal, really happy with it as my first foray into robot vacs. It was so cheap that I don’t have any expectations. It does a great job for 90%. It doesn’t handle our shagpile rug though. Just kept doing circles all over it. This appears to be common for all the models.
