Does the 30% off beat Eastbay's price+shipping?

Eastbay has 20% off atm, so I'm inclined to think Eastbay will still be cheaper.
Just going by a quick look at a few sneakers, Footlocker are ~ $40-$120 more expensive.
Or $20-$100 more expensive when taking into account shipping.
I dont think the extra 10% difference off will help, but if Eastbay didnt have 20% off then this would be good.
I think it would be dependant on the product.
As an example -
Jordan Spizike - $239.95 X 30% = $167.96 - http://www.footlocker.com.au/shoes/mens/jordan-spizike/Jordan Spizike - $174.99 (US) X20% = $140.00US + Shipping $39.99 (Shipping and handling is 28% of the net order total or a minimum of $39.99.) TOTAL = 179.99US (173.01AUS - www.xe.com./ucc)
So cheaper at footlocker and not accounting for delivery time.
And no I have no affiliation with Footlocker, just wasted my own good time doing those sums and they may not apply for every product, that was just the example I chose.
Yes, top of the line shoes will most likely be cheaper locally, but for lower price sneakers (below $100 in USD) will be cheaper from eastbay (especially if you get 2 pairs for $40 postage)
Compare the Nike Lunarglide 3
$80 at eastbay but $200 at footlocker (dont need to do the shipping and discounts to see eastbay will be cheaper).i purchased a pair of lunarglide 3's from eastbay
i saw this deal, compared prices then laughed at aus prices
don't forget the Eastbay deal is for only over a $100 though.
But I do agree with you and regularly buy from Eastbay
when you buy 2 pairs to make postage worthwhile, its almost always over $100
definitely a key with Eastbay, get friends involved to make the shipping worthwhile!

I don't know about now, but previously I've found that they sometimes jack their regular prices up a bit so the '30% off' isn't necessarily a full 30% off.
I think so cause the sale hasn't started yet. it's on 15 Nov to 18
