It's a great ssd, can often be found around $160-$170 without the heatsink if you don't need it though

I've got the 1 tb version about a year ago been excellent very quick ssd I want this 2tb but I won't deal with mwave after a freight charge issue.

    • Wait for ebay 20% off deal again.

  • Waiting for eofy sale

  • I know it's been better, but in the current market, $360 isn't bad for the 4TB version.

    • it was around for 279 for a long time, but i could not afford it because spent money elsewhere every times and now prices have gone up since then, i can't bring myself to pay more than 280 for 4tb nm790 now, i will just wait.

I have this without heatsink because my mobo has heatsink. Speeds are real. Awesome drive. I Paid $157 from ebay couple of months ago.

Got the 4TB for $255 in one of the sales last year and it's been solid as a rock as my program drive. Using 2TB 980 Pro as my OS drive. Temps roughly similar throughout operation and never seen it more than 55' or IIRC on either drive.

So u got the 4tb, and the 4tb temps were great? by any chance did u get the 2tb and check the temps? cos this is the 2tb one? yeh? ok?

Sold previously for 129$ on sales, currently with delivery comes as 193$.

    • Sold previously for 129$

Don't think we'll ever see these prices again. Pointless to "but i got it cheaper last year".

      Chips prices gone up.

    • yeah i miss those prices.

  • does this have vram? or is it good as a windows drive?

    • Want to know this aswell. I need it for main boot drive and my 512gb is running out soon

      • google says no DRAM but because of its fast speeds it would not impact this being used as an OS drive.
