  • Pro-tip if you're able to go the the physical store to pickup. You can call them and order/pay for the item over the phone and you won't have to pay shipping, but will still get whatever sale price is current at the time.

    • I mean free local pickup is an option on eBay.

but yeah i think they would do that because it means they don't have to pay eBay fees for every unit sold.

I have one of these. Powers my 12v electric blanket for a couple of nights when I'm winter camping, it feels like I'm cheating.

    • tell me more!

Kmart sell a 12v heated portable travel blanket for $35 (or you can buy the same thing at KickAss or 4WDSupaCentre for a bit more). Shove it inside your sleeping bag on High setting for 20 minutes before you go to bed, it's heaven. You can even leave it on Low setting all night if it's really cold, it uses about 25% of this battery pack for 8 hours. I used mine at Uluru when it was sub-zero temperatures. It's a game changer if you like winter car-camping in a tent.

        • Do you take it out of the sleeping bag before you get in? If you don't, how do you fit the blanket and you in the bag?

        • Bought one! Thanks.

    • Wow when you go to OzB to buy a deal, read the comments and buy something else! Solid tip. Gonna give this a go!

note: according to them, the shop themselves, it cannot discharge and charge at the same time.

user manual doesn't mention pass through at all. so possibly might void warranty. someone asked a similar question on the previous post, so I was able to find the video.

this guy here says it can, but obviously you lose USB-C port output when charging. he seems to only talk about it when charging via USB-C though.

makes sense to me now why there's only 1x USB-C port, if they gave another USB-C port it can output higher (60W) than in can charge (45W) which means even while charging the power pack charge level will drop.
usually the whole point of pass through is to charge the power pack at the same time as using or at least stop it from dropping it's charge level.

so only 18w and 12w USB-A will output while charging. which makes sense the power pack can still charge with 45w in.

I don't think what he says about the 12V 10A cigarette output is accurate, I mean it will also mean possible output higher than it can charge resulting in a dropping power pack charge level. if you are doing more than 45w out of the cig output probably adding a tiny amount of time before the power pack charge level gets to 0%.

  • How do you get those price? Im getting $329?

    • hey spongebob it's back for $179 now for Afterpay users only. about to post it.
