I had these really cool Kobe Bryant purple Nikes (05/06ish) and was tailgated by a few shifty folks (outside Eastland in Ringwood, Victoria), crossed the road and avoided a shoe-theft.
I have a varied shoe collection with different colours - while I have the standard black, navy and white style shoes. I also have shoes with distinct colours - such as I have an Under Armor pair and a Nike pair that is predominantly gold. I haven't worn the Nike's since 2016 and the UA's since 2020…. both are too good to just wear out and about (and eventually ruin them lol). Purple and other combinations (red/yellow etc).
I don't think I'd pull off the pink shoe look well to be honest.
I have shoes is pretty much every colour, including gold, silver, rainbow, neons, and some really wacky designs. I don't care what people think. Just wear what you like.

I have a few pink (both dark and light) polo shirts that I get around in. Just don't think pink shoes is a good fit for me, which is amusing as I have such a vast colour difference across my shoe collection).
