HP Printer Ink No. 564 - All Colours Only $8.25 ACT, Possibly Other States Australia Post

50

Hey all,

Scored some super cheap ink today, ~50% off the usual retail price. They have a "clearance" on old and crappy inks at AusPost in Tuggeranong and there are a couple of HP 564 inks with a few other models in there too. The HP 564 inks are marked as $16.50 with 50% off which = $8.25.

Went to Officeworks down the road and got them to price match + beat. Told the woman 7 times it was $8.25, she put them all through at $16.50 to begin with then $8.50 with the 5% off which comes to $8.07 each.

Great deal for people like me, I print lots of research papers and at University it's ~10-15c per page, this equates to just over 3c. Will also be able to claim back on tax :D

Anyway, enjoy.

seems like a lot of effort to save 18c.

    • Well, for starters Officeworks is literally a 30 second walk down the road from AusPost Tuggeranong. Secondly, AusPost only have a couple of 564 colours in their bin and I thought it would be smarter to buy 7 since I use so much rather than get the 3 or so they had in there.

Believe it or not other people may not live in Tuggeraning so price matching at Officeworks is definitely the better option.

      • What is someone buys those last 3 cartridges in Aust Post? Then you won't be able to pricematch any more as its no longer in stock at Aust Post.

  • this is not a deal. pricematching price in title

Read the original post. 50% off at AusPost Tuggeranong (ACT) which is at $8.25. Price matching at Officeworks for the following reasons:

      1. Cheaper
      2. So more people can get the deal.

Perhaps read before posting an uninformed comment?

      • you dont understand how it works here. you had $8.07 in the title. $8.07 is the price matching price and price matching is not a deal. changing the title after my comment doesnt make me wrong

I didn't change the title - the mods did.

The deal is still valid, whether you like it or not. I'm posting the price matching example due to it being cheaper. You can still get it for 50% RRP at AusPost, thus it is in-fact a deal which contradicts your initial statement of "NOT A DEAL DERP"

  • Told the woman 7 times it was $8.25

Woman was hard of hearing? :)

  • i use 564 cartridges in my HP B110a printer.

there is a simple hack you can do so you can refill your cartridges and the printer accepts them.

I've been using cheapo ebay ink for the last 12 months with no probs.

  • anyone confirmed its available all post office?
