    Just bear in mind the listening end is a bit flimsy especially when connected to a 4th gen iPad and mine wouldn't detect at USB 2.0 only at 1.1

      We have newer cables that are different to the batch you got, if you want to return yours for a replacement - we can do that

      I can test it on an ipad first if you like, which model do you have?

      The 3rd party cables are only going to get better with time, in a few months they will probably be close to identical with the genuine ones

        Nah it's ok, I bought them with the intention of using them as charging cables only in the trucks USB ports. It was a 4th gen. Because the device end is larger then stock and the curved edge on the 4 it doesn't fit as snug compared to a ip5

    Do the cases overlap the front to protect from an iphone faceplant? Or does it just cover the edges if you know what I mean?
    And are their any adapters that currently support audio out or is that a future thing?

      The cases do come up a little (probably less than 0.5mm) but I wouldn't rely on it for a big drop - they are meant to offer some protection while keeping the slim profile of the phone

      The adapters don't do audio yet, it's a future thing. Some suppliers say they have working adapters for audio out but it's not stable and cause heat problems so we are waiting for better versions.
