  I have the non solar model. I dont think this has NFC for payments unless it is a solar model thing

    Yes I just saw only the Solar and Surf models have NFC.

    it is a solar model thing. I have this. I find it a bit annoying on the instinct 2 because there's no touch screen to enter your pin (mandatory at least each time you take off/put on the watch). Works much better on a touch screen watch e.g. venu 3.

      Yeah I ran into the same thing on my Fenix 6s Pro Solar, it's quite annoying and I just ended up getting my phone out half the time anyway.
