I've always thought amazon has a tendency to not ship console games outside of their sales region.

Sure will. Only catch is any DLC you get has to be US DLC, but as far as I can tell this disc includes everything anyway.
As far I as I know PS3 games are never region locked (except for 1, Persona Arena 4.) The only issue may be online as it would use US DLC and may connect to US servers.
EDIT - Actually since this is the GOTY, DLC is probably fine.
How much is the shipping?
It's really that hard to do a test checkout to find out the shipping cost?? Shipping ends up being $15.94 for the cheapest one. Total is approx $35
shipping on games from Amazon us is a total rip - 10 bucks a shipment and 5 per game roughly - same size box as bluray and dvd but twice as much - its cuz the us post subsidises internal cheap post by gouging overseas buyers - foreigners subsidise yanks etc etc. they got a big market internally and don't need foreign buyers - of course if they were made to pay what they owed they would need to sell more abroad and these inflated costs would fall but economics is dead - so might is right.The only reason films and dvd's still ship cheap is cuz of piracy.
This deal is pretty worthless tbh… EB Games has the game for $36 which is the same price as this when counting shipping, and I'd rather support the local distributor. And you have to wait a few weeks to get it.
Shipping with amazon is a base price ($10 for normal, $20 for expedited shipping) then plus whatever item.
So if you buy only this game then i guess that's minimal savings.
But put it another way, if you are already planning to get something from amazon, this game would only add another 6 dollars to the shipping cost, so it's $26.
Would this game work on a Aus Version PS3 though?
They got some decent PS3 bundle deals also but the region think with blurays, dvd is holding me back.
