    Depends on the cinema - Hoyts are $17 via Priceline and the $5 bonus is only for a limited time.

    Telstra lets you accrue Telstra points and Village points.
    
    At 13.50, you get 135 points, 135x4 is 540*, which is a small popcorn or Coke, so $7 value (according to them, I'd say 70 cents).
    
    Which means, assuming you can only do one transaction (which I doubt, but humour me), Village would offer a higher return on investment for jv.
    
    *500 points per popcorn / soda.

A small catch though if using for Reading Cinemas - voucher cannot be redeemed online and only in person, meaning you will have to chance your arm with tickets and seats availability.
