Splashtop 2 remote desktop app for iPad down to 99c. down from 7 or 8 bucks.
I have used logmein free before, I have yet to try this but my college has been running around the office with his iPad with just this app.

This version charges $1/m if you want to use it from a outside network (either 3G or via Internet).
Also, I think the updates are only for this new app. My old streamer stopped working and when I updated it, the app fell over lots.
Thought that was $1 per minute - it's $1 per month!

Still, $1/month to use a feature that versions 1.x of the app included for free.
Fantastic app for enjoying pc games remotely on the ipad (Torchlight 2 and Civilization 5 work very well with touch) as the latency is low enough for 30fps.
The only downsides are that you have to pay a subscription if you want to use it on 3G and the sound starts stuttering every 15 mins use requiring a disconnect/reconnect to fix. If they fixed the sound issue it would be flawless but it's still a great app all around.
whats wrong with teamviewer? its free.
I have Splashtop Pro (which no longer seems to be in the App Store). DOes anyone know of the differences?
