  The samsung for $598 from flingshot was a far far better deal.

  No where near as ugly as this either.

    By the way, here is the Samsung NP530U3C-A03AU @ThePistonHead was talking about. Good price for that, except

    • It's sold out
    • It's an ULV processor
    • It's a 1.5kg ultrabook, but S430 is a 1.8kg full blown laptop with optical drive
    • 1600x900!
    • And most importantly, for all the ThinkPad lovers out there — Trackpoint!!!

  If anyone is buying these, make sure to change the default "Win 8" OS to Win7HP (no cost). If you still want Win8, get the $15 upgrade to Win 8 Pro from Microsoft directly.

  Upgrading from Win 8 to Win 8 Pro on Lenovo's site costs $149!

  Bought the $899 one with i7, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD on 3 December and got delivery today. A very nice lappy that feels as solid as my old T410. Now just need to figure out how to use Windows 8…
