      sorry mate my mistake…
      5400rpm could be a selling point ;)

  • Quadcore, 10", GPS, HDMI, SD Slot, bluetooth, decent battery & toshiba…. nice!

OP price is still listed as $399? (your link - http://www.bcccomputers.com.au/index.php?route=product/produ…)

    • Price has been correct.
      cheers

Acer Iconia A200 is Tegra 2, whereas this is Tegra 3.

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109A looks interesting, but only 8GB and not Australian stock. And why does the spec says "GPU: Mali-400 MP" ??

    • I think acer one is Last Gen Tegra2 Dual-Core Processer, and we had a similar toshiba dual-core model for only $219 (AT100)

      AT300 is using Tegra3 Quad-Core

      • This is the low MHz Version of Tegra-3.

Austin in Osborne Park WA has stock of the AT300/001 for $299 pick-up (click the Check Availability in All Branches link).

    • Lenovo is a Tegra 3 quad core cpu @ 1.2ghz vs 1.3ghz Toshiba, which isn't much of a difference in processing power with only 100mhz difference.
Id prefer the 9" screen of the Lenovo as might be smaller tablet to hold. The only downfall is the 8gb internal storage compared to the 16gb of the toshiba.

Here is the specs of lenovo:

      Up to personal preference really.

  • seriously i d rather pay 600 for nexus 10

    • +3

Yeah I'd rather a mountain bike for $600

    • (dupe)

Harrumph, I can get a pony for $600

        .

  • What's the res? I assume it's 1280x800 ?

    • Presumably that's what the 1280x800 numbers in the description mean…

      • +1

Presumably the description was edited after I wrote that question.

        • +1

          I'll cop that

I too wish I was 'immersed in a brilliant'.

    • I think that's a good thing but I could be wrong.

    • sounds like a tagline for ainol

  • Rep, can you not make free shipping for Ozbargainers? If you do that, i'll tablet from you right now..:D

    • You don't want free shipping?

  • slightly low res screen and average camera, otherwise good specs and I was after a sub $400 10" tablet, so purchased!

    • should be dispatched tomorrow.

    • seems like it's going to be sent Friday now as apparently they don't post stuff on Thursdays, despite what I was told yesterday. So looks like I'll have it after the weekend.

      • Looks like it's going to be sent next week now as a manager is off sick today

        • received yesterday.

Very fast tablet, awesome graphics with the games optimised for Tegra 3. General operation very good. Some light bleed across top and right on black images. Takes a 128GB SD card which I bought for $51. Apps-SD doesn't recognise the AT-300 as external storage for programmes, so can't move to it, so all apps are in the 16GB internal memory, but that's plenty for apps. Music, pics and vids can go on SD.

  • @ Rep, any 3G versions of the 7.7" or 10" Toshibas?

  • +1

nearly wanna buy it… but seems toshiba doesnt like users to root easily…
for advanced users, may need reconsider…
