Quick Update Regarding 7500F configuration, how to order it, where to find it and all the options in general.

Had a few inquiries since the original post asking how to order the 7500F deal, where's the link to the 7500F deal etc. So many we thought it best to clarify right at the top here. It's all the one product landing page, all you need to do is click the 'more options' text below each category to see the full list of options. The 7500F is selectable after clicking the 'more options' text under the default 9600X CPU.

What happens when a day one CPU launch flops because the RRP was too high & the performance wasn't dialed in for day one reviews? Price drops!

There's no bad CPUs only bad prices, and the 9600X is a great example. A little ripper of mid range gaming CPU, extremely power efficient, just too expensive at launch. Since then, prices have already dropped, the 7800X3D that everyone was comparing too has gone up market-wide and now with a bunch of Windows updates, motherboard BIOS updates and chipset driver tweaks a meaningful amount of extra performance has been squeezed out of since day one reviews the 9600X is an extremely compelling mid-range offering. Landing on average within 5% of the performance of the best in class 7800X3D in gaming but at ~30% cheaper! On top of that we've secured a batch at a very hot price to offer this pre-built deal while stocks last (approx. 120) so get in quick. If it's anything like our last few deals they won't last long.

One of the most common requests we get when ever we post a Ryzen platform deal is for upgraded RAM kits with tighter timings! We've noticed the competition going with either just 16G of 5600MHz CL40 or at best 6000MHz CL38 so this time we've splashed out for a kit of 32G kit 6000MHz CL30 RGB RAM for the ideal pairing for the Ryzen Zen4/5 platform. For those less PC savvy, CL is a measure of latency and lower is better! Could have easily made it a paid upgrade option but it's the default option at the headline price!

As always, we might not have the lowest headline price in the title but that's not our aim. Our pitch will remain to be exceptional value for a higher tier of quality. We know it's a niche on a platform where price is king and a clickbait price in the title gets in the door, but for those who do appreciate it your positive feedback is what keeps us coming back month after month with new deals. So you you like what we have to offer, show us some love if you want to see more!

Note Re : Motherboard
While our usual go to MSI B650M Gaming PLUS WiFi is temporarily out of stock, we've gone with the closest matching offering we can secure that meets our feature, quality and compatibility requirements. 4 DRAM slots, a high quality VRM suitable for high end CPU pairings, latest gen WiFi & Bluetooth, 2.5Gb Ethernet, Mid-board Type C for cases that support it, 2x NVMe Gen4 slots and a ton of connectivity options. Still a much higher end offering compared to regular offerings from some of the competition (Gigabyte B650M Gaming WiFi, or MSI Gaming non-Plus for example)

Questions regarding Windows licenses & installation
- Yes, our licenses are 100% genuine OEM or retail licenses purchased directly from Microsoft authorized distributors. Physical copies of these products are provided with the PC including the license key cards and installation flash drive (for retail licenses) or COA stickers (for OEM licenses). Any system builder that doesn't provide these could be charging you full price for a grey market key of significantly less value and questionable origin. Always demand the physical copies!
- Yes, if you purchase Windows from us we will have it pre-installed, setup, updated and with all the required drivers pre-installed ready to go out of the box.
- No we cannot pre-install Windows for anyone who doesn't purchase a genuine license. We'd love to offer this as a service for those who already have a genuine license but selling a PC pre-loaded with Windows without a license purchase is strictly forbidden by Microsoft.
- Yes, if you have a genuine retail (not OEM or volume) license you can provide to us and that we can validate as genuine, we can activate it for you and provide the PC with Windows pre-installed. Contact us after placing your order with your order number and license details to arrange. OEM or volume keys cannot be accepted as they are non transferable to new systems.

  • This deal looks good to me, how hard do you guys think it would be to replace the case on a system like this at home?

I would love something like this in a z20

    • If you've ever built a PC before it's probably a little fiddly and time consuming, but not overly difficult as long you select a compatible combination of hardware to fit the case in question.

Z20 isn't a model we've played with here so hard to make guarantees. The way way the case is designed it'll be a snug fit and airflow might be less than ideal but it 'should' be ok with the base default config at least.

      • +2

With given how basic the internals look.

1 - Remove all cables off the motherboard and GPU
        2 - Remove GPU
3 - Remove the motherboard (unscrewing the standoff screws)
4 - Remove the internal fans
        5 - Remove the PSU
6 - Remove the Motherboard IO bracket

And pretty much the reverse for the install. The included cooler, CPU, NVME SSD and ram can all stay on when swapping the board.

        • +2

if it all goes smoothly, that's pretty much it!

although the devil is always in the details so 🤞

Oooo very interesting, loving that 9600x build. What's current turn around time if I was to order today?

Am I able to get you to activate it via massgrave HWID? ;p

    • Depends how many people get in before you do as it's a first in first out queue. What I can say is if you locked in your order right away, you're probably looking and ~ 3 business days to dispatch.

  • +2

+1 for EXPO rated 6000/CL30 RAM, nice sweet spot for AM5 currently.

    • 🥳

  • +1 for using decent quality motherboards to allow for flexibility of future CPU upgrades
Love the BYO GPU option for this setup as well

    • ❤️

  • This or Piss5 Pro?

  • +1

been rocking the 970 but it's time i give it up, is this a solid upgrade i should pull the trigger on? i'm 10 years out of date with this stuff…honestly, help..

    • it is great upgrade! You will love this! Great for 1440p gaming and this is very much future proof and upgradable! perfect for getting back into the PC market

      • -1

i've always had a preference for Intel CPUs, but unsure if AMD has caught up / taken over. I kind of want a different CPU lol

        • +1

Can confirm, AMD by far the market leader in value for money, power efficiency and in many cases raw performance. Definitely the leader in sales volume for us by a wide margin.

Next-gen Intel is right around the corner. We're expecting improvements to narrow the gap but at best, they'll back to neck and neck depending on your use case.

  • +1

AMD is much better not even fanboying but even i who has an intel 14700 would agree i should've gone AMD

    • +1

Agree unless you have some special need like H265 422 10bit video editing or other productivity softwares that are only good with Intel.

  • Bought my PC with Evatech and the service was amazing. PC is also amazing, would recommend.

    • ❤️

  • +3

I've been lurking between the various pre-builders like techfast and nebula. I heard that Evatech has the best customer service - I might actually pull the trigger and order 2 of the 9600X!

  • Will probably help a friend order a machine on Sunday :)

  • Any chance I can the CPU/MB changed for intel i9 - need it for some CAD software which only likes intel stuff…

    • Hit us up via the contact form on our website and our sales team will see what they can work out!

  • +1

There's no bad CPUs only bad prices

I'm pretty sure the latest gen Intels would disagree… assuming they still function

    • +1

ah,. well yes… although if Intel was flogging off 14900KS's for $2.50 a pop with a 90 day warranty, a strong argument could be made that it still comes down to price.

  • Hey guys, I can't seem to get the code to work - am I doing something wrong?

    • Eligible PC in the cart before entering the code? Are you getting any error messages? If so, can you shoot a screenshot of the cart and error message to [email protected] and we'll get back to you ASAP!

  • Any intake fans?

    • If you really like the Asus A21 chassis you can shoot us a message via our contact form on the website and we can offer a four rgb fan plus controller/hub set for $95.

Much more cost effective however is to just swap the case to one of the Montech Air Premium or Sky Two options. They all come preloaded with 4 fans and a controller as standard.

  • what is the chance we could get a 4080 super + 7800x3d build soon?

    • +1

You can configure it in this particular build with the same discount code offer applicable although you'll need to also upgrade the 750w Gold to match for the GPU.

Granted the final price won't be as sharp as the last few ozbargain prebuilts from a while back offering 7800X3D/RTX4080 Supers but it's still a decent deal by today's standards once you factor in the overall higher spec of most of the other parts.

AMD has significantly jacked the price of 7800x3D post 9000 series launch. Anyone offering sub $3000 deals on that pairing today either has some older stock, or is really skimping and cutting corners on the other components to make it possible.

Not sure if it's the result of temporary supply shortages or not at this stage. Hopefully it comes down again but it could be replaced by a 9800x3D in the not too distant future.

For most games, especially if you crank up the settings, the GPU is the bottleneck much more so than the CPU. 9600X + 4080 Super will still make for a banger of a gaming PC and right now is much more compelling value! Can always upgrade to a 9800x3D later down the line if you really feel the need to.

  • Hey @evatech i bought your pc the other day for my brother with the 4070s and 9600x, is he still eligible for the msi steam deal? It's great value and v. Similar spec still using msi parts

    • Shoot us an email from the account you placed the order with and our sales team will look in to it for you. I know we were only included in as a eligible reseller for this promo within the last 24 hours (back end admin hiccup). Not sure MSI will accept claims prior to our formal inclusion, but I'm sure our guys will try and figure that out for you and make it work if they can!

      • Thanks for the quick reply

        • +1

For anyone that might be watching this - we've already responded to and sorted out anths88 via email.

Anyone else who has bought a PC from us with qualifying MSI products will be able to claim their gift card via MSI once they have their invoice which is available when the order is in a completed state. This covers orders placed dating back to 1st September 2024!

  • Does this deal attract any of the steam gift cards? TIA

    • If it has a MSI GPU & MB it should qualify for the $70USD tier! You'd just lose eligibility if you went with the BYO GPU option.
