  • No in-box charger unlike the Vodafone prepaid E14 that only has 2GB RAM compared to 4GB on the G04, but got one sent out from Motorola (Roadhound) after contacting Motorola support and providing proof of purchase.

I use my G04 a lot with my Pixel Watch (1st gen, got on clearance for $149 at OW).

    • Is the 'protective cover' included a screen cover or a plastic case?

      • +1

        A plastic case.

  • Worth replacing my LG V30+ with this?

  • Little bit more money, you will get 128gb

    • Still uses the same chipset and 720p screen though

        • Could also get an extra $21 worth of stuff for $6 extra. Not sure how refunds work if phone needs to be refunded though..

    • Yeah that's a good deal.

  • Anyone know if calls will still work on this when 3G networks shutdown?
Specs page says 4G lte, but googling says volte is needed for calls?

    • Where does it say 4G? Trying to see the specs.

    • This guide however being from Vodafone UK states that the Motorola G04 supports VoLTE and how to turn it on and off. So it's all good it can call through VoLTE which is 4G calling. Which means it can actually be used when the 3G mobile network is shutdown. It's not going to be a doorstop.

    • Telstra list VoLTE in the specifications section on this page:
      https://mobilesupport.telstra.com.au/motorola/moto-g04-andro…

      • Coolios, thank you.
        Motorola page only specified LTE.

        • Possibly because VoLTE requires more than just a compatible phone, it also requires the phone company to support it as well.

Otherwise Motorola could be getting complaints that VoLTE doesn't work on the phone, when the customer is using a mobile provider that doesn't support VoLTE.

  • Is this e-Sim compatible ? Need one for travel.

  • Comes to $116.10 with Everyday Rewards account linked.

    • What offer is that?

      • If you have a Woolworths (free) Rewards account, you can link it to Big W and it'll automatically apply "Everyday Extra 10% off" on one order per month.

        • I have Everyday rewards but not Everyday extra. How would linking Everyday rewards to Big W (already previously linked) give 10% off an order a month?

          • @Rain Cloud: Try XSEP2024 promo code in combination with the Everyday linked account.

            • @zaphy: Thanks, ordered the satin blue one with the code for $116.
