  • epic!

  • one just opened up near me too :)

Also if you have the ING paywave card it is an additional 5% off.

    • 4 x $30 card = $84 after 30% off
      1 x $20 card = $14 after 30% off
Total = $98, just under the $99.99 ING paywave limit.

Do you want me to buy and I can send to you?

      aren't any 7-Eleven's in Adelaide

That's because it would have to be called "7-Five"

      • 6-Five
        Sunday - church day

        • I thought its name meant 7am - 11pm?

    $20 iTunes card x 30% = $14 SAVE $6

  • Great deal, no 7-Eleven's up here though :\

  • Officework here I come! (for their 5% price beat)

    • they don't usually price match cards…

      • +10

Just purchased 2x $50 iTunes cards at Officeworks Elizabeth St Melbourne for $66.50 ($33.25 each). They beat the price by 5% as soon as I showed them the 7-Eleven printout, no questions asked.

        • +1

          WAS Paywave available?
that would be a triple decker discount

        • No idea.

        • +3

Purchased $50 iTunes card from OW@North Sydney for $33.25. Show 7-Eleven website on phone. No hassle. No Question.

        • Just bought at the Sydney CBD Hunter Street store, 50 voucher for 33.25!
          Great deal!

        • No luck at Officeworks in Hawthorn. Staff claimed iTunes cards are not a stocked item and the system will not allow them to process an additional 5% off. iTunes card automatically scanned at 20% off though.

        • +2

Tell them to call the stores above and find out why some are ok with the offer. As far as I know, the price match guarantee is across everything in store.

        • got 2 x $50 for $61.5 at officeworks, I thought it would be $66.5, anyway awesome deal

        • Not according to the staff at Officeworks in Hawthorn. They tried to process a price match with a further 5% off and the system would not allow them (unless they did a manual override, which apparently they weren't allowed to do for not a 'stocked item'). They explained they can print a iTunes card without a physical card therefore the item is not considered 'in stock'. Guess it's the luck of the drawn and the operator, although you would expect policy to be consistent across all Officeworks stores.

        • thats what happened to me in QV Officeworks, they told me the same thing about the stocked item. but i asked the guy to read the ozbargain comments above. in the end the store manager has to do something to process the price match. bought 2x30 for 39.90.

        • PayPass and PayWave are available at North Sydney.
(For those with ING cards wanting to get the additional 5% rebate.)

$20 cards for $13.30 at Office Works North Sydney.
No questions asked, activation confirmations stapled to the cards.
Not many $20 ones left, but heaps of $30.

        • Can confirm that Officeworks in Werribee were cool with honoring their pricematch, also beat, so 35% off face value… The nephews Christmas presents sorted :)

        • If you got 35% off face value then they did the pricematch policy incorrectly. It is meant to be 5% off the competitors price, not the original price.

        • Why is that an issue? 5% off the original price is better than 5% off the competitor's price.

        • Just trying to clarify if they meant what they said or perhaps they misunderstood the discount in which case trying to educate.

  • very good

  • Bought $90 worth. And a 3 for $3 deal. $66 all up

  • +1

the 3 for $3 deal is pretty good as well… i got 3x 600ml oaks for 3 bucks.. normal price is $3.80 each

    • Oak, a softdrink it ain't (if it ain't) sold out.

  • Saved $6 on a &20 iTunes Card. Thanks

  • Thanks OP, off to 7/11 now =)

  • heading to officeworks

  • Scooped up $200 worth form Adelaide St (BNE) today and the dude advised me it's only applicable to current stock so it's worth getting your turbo skates on. There was not many $50's left.

  • 7/11 burwood hwy/stud road had about 20+ of $50 & $30 cards each, about 50 $20 cards

  • Just snagged two $50 ones from the 7/11 in Shellharbour. They had heaps left on the rack.

  • Good stuff, grabbed a couple today!

  • Grabbed a bunch today. Guy at the checkout said a lady bought 70 cards yesterday!

  • Was refused service at 7 Eleven at Granville NSW when I tried to by 2x iTunes cards using payWave. The manager insisted that cards had to be purchased with cash.

Needless to say I was not impressed.

    • i paid for some with paywave via credit, and some with cash, no issues. Report them.

    • Just say you aren't carrying that much cash.

      • I did, the manager pointed to an ATM and asked me to take money out O_o.

I have contacted 7-Eleven and they are looking into the matter. They are suppose to accept any form of payment.

Still an unbeatable deal though, if you are after iTunes cards :)

  • +1

Nice deal. +1 to the Officeworks trainee that gave me 35% off for the price-beat guarantee rather than taking 5% off the 30% reduced price.

  • Went to Vermont OW , they insisted that they can't price match itune cards.

  • Thanks! This solved tricky present buying for people who have everything.

  • I bought 10 from 7-11 I tried price matching at Officeworks but they only would match the price at 30%.
I showed them their 5% price match guarantee after 15 minutes of supervisor to management apparently "this line item could not be discounted". Though when I said forget it I'll just buy it at 7-11 I was told they could do it at 30%.

Bought it at the 7-11 with the nice guy there who had to scan each one.
Yes I drove an extra 1km for the same price but 7-11 said "wow nice deal" rather than play me.
