Google Play Apps & Games Sale - 50% off Selected Titles

182

This sale was advertised on the Google Play app, I can't find any details of it when visiting the website on my PC.
Hopefully someone finds a deal here.

Edit: Discounts not working for all. Some people are being shown the discounted price but when proceeding to payment it reverts to the full price.
My apologies to anyone who wasted their time.

The sale is actually due to Telstra starting to allow their customers to charge Google Play content to their Telstra Phone Bill

Looks like most of these apps were also part of the 25 cent sale this year :-)

    • 10c last yr too

    Non-telstra can get these too.

  • Is Star Chart any good - especially on a Nexus 7"?

  • Ocean HD appears as $0.99, but when checking out is $1.99 - Be careful

Actually it's not just that. Tablet keyboard is doing the same thing.

Happens by both app/phone and web.

      Poop.

      • The keyboard only appears as $1.99 to me.
Are you saying it doubles to $3.99 when you go to check out?

        • +1

          Yup. :(

        • Damn, this is weird…
I can purchase it via the web or the app for any of my devices at the discounted price $1.99
I can even do this for my Optus Galaxy S 1.

I'll update the description that it's not working for all.

    • It doesn't do that for me, maybe it is only a Telstra sale.

      • I've tried with my Vodafone phone, my PC and my Telstra tablet - No discount when checking out [discounted prices only appear before checking out]

  • Is Endomondo Pro really normally $9.99?

    • I seem to remember it only being $5 ..
I went to paid when it was on sale for 10cents and honestly couldn't tell the difference . Although my wife uses it in conjunction with her garmin ant+ heart monitor and I think thats a pro version only feature .

      • Thanks, yeah, I thought that was the standard price.

There are 5 main pro features, according to the description

        • Interval programs
        • Graphs
        • Beat yourself
        • Low power mode
        • Time goal
        • Calorie goal

As well as no ads. Nothing amazing, but a few possibly useful features.

Sounds like it often goes on the 10c/25c/50c sales when they're on, so I might wait around for the next one of those.

        • Just use the free one till then . Theres also Endomondo "premium" now which is another $20 a year to give even more info . I think thats just getting greedy .

    Proof that it works.

      • Not really a valid reason to neg, just because it doesn't work for you.
It works for me, both on my SGS2, N7, and on the web store.

        • I tried with phone, tablet and PC, so I thought it wasn't working. That's the reason I voted neg. Now it seems it's working for some people and not for others.
The problem might be related to the credit cards.

    I didn't get overcharged buying Swiftkey 3 keyboard. I paid $1.99.

  • If you can't get this to work - call #818#.
