Not trying to diss this product but just wanted to raise awareness.

The Power/Mode button is in an unfortunate spot and i find myself bumping it when just moving the unit around
Cycling the modes can be pretty frustraing espicially when i keep bumping the mode button
It is a little slow. Continuity Beep and Voltage take a second or two for result. I have an old cheap meter and that's pretty much instant.

I have another model Aneng DVM, the continuity beep takes a little while too, I would of moved on by the time it had a chance to beep, especially if you just drag it along the IC pins quickly. I also end up using my old DVM, it also is pretty much instant. I don't use my Aneng one much, maybe for frequency or capacitance with my old one does not do.

  • Whilst on the subject - what's 'hot' in the value for money department for AliExpress/Bangood multimeters? Only for low voltage DC fault finding. Sensitive continuity test would be helpful

I also see some small digital oscilloscopes?

ANENG AN8008 is a good start. EEVblog #1007.

Looks like a decent little unit. Grabbed one as soon as I saw the 'pro' pack comes with alligator clips, as I am constantly thinking how handy it would be to have those on my current little cheap multimeter.
