Careful going out in public with that message, some people get really worked up about their loan rates!

    • some win, some lose..

no mortgage you lose, have a mortgage you win…

could be worse, could be living in almost every other country with a lower interest rate than ours..

      • +1

Wrong, everybody looses. No mortgage, get rate cut on their fix term deposit. Have mortgage, no rate cut.

        • +3

          Wrong, bank shareholders win.

        • Don't think so!!
People with mortgage still have a rate cut (although some of them are not fully passed).

        • bank executive fatcats win..

        • +1

Actually everyone is losing, the only reason the Reserve Bank will cut interest rates to such lows, is that the economy is tanking. While those with mortgages may think they are better off, they like others might not have a job to pay even the reduced mortgage.

Not a good outcome for any of us.

oh ffs! not another cut. i might as well just keep my money under my matress.

How does that even make sense? If you have $100,000 in the bank you have lost $250 (not taking into account accrued interest or tax).
Saying you have $100,000 just sitting there, $250 surely isn't that much of an issue to you?

      you'd sleep better too :)

Upload your censored documents maybe, but I have an issue uploading all my valuables along with my GPS location to someone elses server.

    • Not sure if this was for the app, but you can disable iPhone Photo GPS geotag data like this:

      Tap on Settings
      Tap on General
      Tap on “Location Services”
Select the On/Off switch next to “Camera” so that the switch is set to OFF
      Exit settings

The ability to use iCloud is again under your control, its an option users can select if you don't want to use icloud just make sure you back up the app to your computer or iCloud with the rest of your normal apps :)

We are working on a new update which includes ability to mark items as lent to a specific person as well as graphical changes, then the next update will offer upload pdf's for receipts :)

      • Just to confirm, you are saying that no information at all is sent anywhere other than directly to Apples iCloud from your app?

        • yip, only to iCloud

Very slack not to support iPad screen size. Would of been better to support Dropbox backup so you could expand to pc or android sync

    • With iPad you have much more screen real-estate, we are looking at how to best layout the app. In regards to Dropbox we are looking at how to best offer it as well as possibly launching a website to allow users to maintain their contents anywhere, we have decided to launch the iphone version first with iCloud to iron out any kinks before expanding to android and possibly pc with a website.
