Good morning

LOGITECH S715i Rechargeable Speaker $124.50 (1/2 price) @ DSE

I cannot find cheaper than this price anywhere at the moment.

  • You might still be able to get the Bluetooth version from Bing Lee for $99

this post is probably worth a neg based on the newer/better model available at Bing Lee cheaper.

No. See below: sound quality over bluetooth is in no way "better".

Some people might prefer the bluetooth model for whatever reason, but a lot of others wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole…so you can't neg over a completely different product.

my bad, didnt realise the bluetooth model did not also contain an ipod dock. It is definitely not better.
FWIW I grabbed a S715i about a year go for just over a hunj. It is a top performer.

  • I got one of these from JB for $110 bout 6-8 months ago. Am really impressed with it, great sound and battery life for a device like this. I didn't see the bluetooth one at the time, though am glad I got this one as it charges your phone as well as the speakers when plugged in (also increases the sound quality) to the wall. Top purchase!

    • Luckily you've got this version rather than the bluetooth one as the sound stream from bluetooth actually not that impressive. A2DP limitation. I also got mine (non-bluetooth) from LGS for $99 long long time ago.

    • True that. I love this model, too. Been on all my holidays, in the car, in the kitchen, in the bathroom. Only beef is now when it's not plugged in, it turns off if the volume is up too loud.

  • The first time I saw they are cheaper than Logitechshop.com.au

  • Its not really a bargain , no offense to the poster.. i went to the Big W site and its $78.. i walked into jb hifi today and they gave it to me for $78 even considering they have a 30% sale today where they dropped from $220 to $160..

    • Can you post the receipt? I might help more people get the price match. Thanks

    • Same. Got JB to price match today. I showed it to them on my phone. They tried calling BigW to check if they had stock but couldn't get through. I was quiet, wasn't pushy etc. They said it was an amazing deal but were happy to price match as they said that was store policy.
