City Software Mega Deal: D-Link DSL 502T - Router for $49.95 SAVE $50

03

The DSL-502T is an ADSL Router designed for the small office and home. This router lets you quickly and easily connect to high-speed broadband Internet and share your ADSL line. With a built-in ADSL interface and advanced router functions, this device gives your business and home a convenient and cost-effective way to install a secure, fast network with bottleneck-free link to the outside world.

With this router, you can easily connect to your ADSL broadband line for Internet access in your office or at home. This device automatically creates an IP number and assigns for each user, simplifying everyone's logon operation.

The router provides NAT protection for your office and home users from any Internet intruders and hackers, plus VPN pass-through for extra security. It also blocks and redirects certain ports to limit the services that outside users can access your network. Virtual server mapping is used to re-task services to multiple servers. This router can be set to allow separate FTP, Web, and Multiplayer game severs to share the same Internet-visible IP address while still protecting your servers and workstations from hackers.

The router supports constricted DMZ to redirect unknown packets to a dedicated server/PC behind the router, enabling a client (such as a Web server) to fully expose it to the Internet and ensure complete Internet application compatibility. This allows you to set up web sites and e-commerce business from your office while maintaining protection for the rest of your office LAN.

  • Only $6 cheapest than the ones on staticice. still okay, not a very good deal if shipping is factored in. Dam misleading advertising, this router doesn't have an original price of $100.

  • I just did a look into this, and there are better products available at similar price point. As mentioned before it isn't significantly cheaper than what other stores offer this product for

  • Agreed. "Save 50 dollars" is totally misleading.

  • This product is old (it has gone through 2 gens) and has been at $50-$70 for 18 months at least. It's a D-Link so it's not even worth $5.
