The tv show mythbusters also revealed how easy it is to break fingerprint locks.
If I remember right - clean latex glove (hence using latent old print) = pass
b/w photocopy of fingerprint stuck to your finger = pass
Not sure about spamming, but this guy appears to be different from these guys (similar product, but a bit different design). What's fishy about fingerlocks.net is that it opens an iframe to go to another domain, which is owned by someone in Malaysia. Maybe the out-sourced web developer?
Very Cool device, but not really a bargain in my mind
