  I've been meaning to buy Chivalry and at ~$9 it's a bargain.

  "Europe only, guys" — can we just use a VPN to purchase or are the keys region-locked?

    In my experiences, no. Steam keys are region restricted for purchase but can be played anywhere once purchased.

    EG Left 4 Dead Australian version is a different set of keys to the full version. Lots of people bought overseas and then played it in Australia without problems. I've had no issues playing any of my games regardless of which country I'm in.

    Use the top code to get it for $19.50. The code is good til the end of the year. I am tempted to try and wait for the steam sales and get it cheaper from there.

    I've found that they've generally been good support-wise.

    Their download client… not so much. I still remember spending 12gb of my download quota to download a 3gb game. :(
