40% off Android docks looks good. They already have the brilliant A851 dock the cheapest in Aus (same as US prices) so 40% off would be $120!

    Edit, here's the link http://dicksmith.com.au/product/C5913/philips-as851-fidelio-…
I got one of these for my birthday a couple of weeks ago, the sound is amazing.

    • Had my eye on this for a while and now bought. Nice call.

  • Just bougth a Garmin 2595LMT yesterday for $199 ($100 OFF) using 2 x $100 DSE Gift cards from recent deal.
So effectively, got the GPS for $180, and 4 AAA batteries.

Good Guys have this model for $278 and they wont price match DSE. The guy said get it from DSE. We wont be going that low.

    • I never use Garmin, how is it compare to Tomtom? if you ever use Tomtom before.

      • Garmin are the best. LMT models give lifetime maps and traffic updates.

Also the higher models have higher resolution 400x480.

        • Thanks!

        • The 3450+ models have 800x480 resolution, with a very crisp ppi. The best you'll find on a GPS. Most GPS have pretty low resolution and look like crap.

Garmin seriously are the best GPS makers out there. You can also sync it to the Garmin GPS app on your phone and use its data features.

      • I had a Navman. Some DickHead stole it.
So bought a Garmin from DickSmith.
        The sale was JIT.

I read up on WP and got the idea that Garmin are one of the best, atleast better than Navman.

Never used TomTom so can't tell…

        • Thanks again!

Pricematch a Mac with JB HiFi 10% off deals and claim a $100 DS gift card if the computer is still over $999

  • Are Eneloop batteries 30% off like the Family & Friends Sale on 5/12? http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/86877
They're listed in the 30% off list, but only at the sale price before this deal ($11 for 4). No reduction when placed Click & Collect from store. (Will check when I pick up.)

    • Would love to know this too! Missed out on the Family & Friends sale and really want them.

    • Answer: well they are 30% off - THE FULL PRICE!!
Online price of 4 (AA/AAA) is $11 (click & collect) but instore it is double that, less 30% this weekend. Twin pack AA was $6 instore, with no reduction- scanned higher.

  • of all the blu ray players which do people recommend for bang for buck/performance?

    • PS3 for $248

    • Panasonic is best value, avoid Samsung they are total rubbish/.

Have been waiting for months for the Philips Android docks to go back on sale. Definitely picking one up this time!

  • I see the Eneloop glitter AA batteries are $28, worth buying for that price or wait for something cheaper? How often do the glitter ones go on special?

  • I looked through all these and there is no real super bargains like we get from ozbargain (sometimes)

The Eneloop Glitters are $20 delivered as a bargain..

Picked up some cheap TDK headphones for $3.50 with free delivery!
    http://dicksmith.com.au/product/A2157/tdk-in-ear-headphones-…

I wanted to grab one a few weeks ago but none of the stores near me had any stock http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/86309

It comes in blue and pink but it seems like only the pink one can be delivered.

Almost every piece of technology I have bought in the last 12 months was dearer on ebay. I think it's now just a marketplace for selling to those who are too busy/lazy to hunt for bargains. It's also a place to find the unusual or second hand. I mostly use it to see what is available then search on static ice, here and various other online resources for a better price for the same product or at least a local (Australian) source with some history. Thanks for the link OP.

    • Latest Intel Core 2 <> "latest Intel dual core"
      (They still make these things?!)

  • Looks like they're no longer selling HD25s, managed to get the adidas version for $140 delivered during the last 30% off headphones sale.

Just for comparisons sake, JB hifi are selling them for $316, lol.
