The forecast for today in Melbourne will be 39°C. It's going to be one of those hot summers and probably going to be an enduring Australian Open as the last couple have been fairly mild. Today, Australian Open is giving away Ice Cream at Queensbridge Square. That's the area on Southbank with those weird red steps. More info here although that pages says ice creams tomorrow. Not sure what ice cream or what quantity but if you are in the area, it's a good way to cool down.

      Yeah, the Australian Open Twitter feed is the one I'd trust more. It's probably on both days but definitely today.
