Looks like Meelectronics is having one last sale for the year.

For $9.99, you'll be sent one of the following:
- M16 (Chrome or Black) RRP$19.99
- M6 (Black) RRP$29.99
- M31 (Red/Purple/Gold/Blue) RRP$34.99
*With a chance to win a set of A151's.

For $11.99, you'll be sent one of the following:
- M16P (Chrome or Metallic) RRP$24.99
- M9P (Black) RRP$34.99
- M31P (Black) RRP$44.99
*With a chance to win a set of A161P's.

Delivery is a flat $5 using the coupon code SHIPPING_COUPON and usually takes a week or two (so should make it in time for Christmas!)

Reminder that the P models (ie the $11.99 ones) have a microphone. It works fine for 99% of phones (my M6P's didn't work with my old Samsung Galaxy S, but are fine with the SGS III).

My usual spiel about Meelectronics…
For those that don't know the brand, have a quick google. Meelectronics are constantly fighting above their weight, being better than headphones 2 to 5 times their price.

Head-Fi have an awesome comparison of 266 in-ear earphones if you are looking for a non biased comparison!

  • I can only see shipping for $7.95 at the cheapest for Sydney Australia? does it get reduced in further screens?

  • +2

Looks like delivery is $7.95 for international but there is $2.95 off using SHIPPING_COUPON

    • Which makes it a flat $5.

    • Thanks - I misread the flyer :s

OP updated with the correct prices.

Nice deal, definitely spend the extra $2 and get the better ones though, I have the M16 and it's not much chop.

The link for the $11.99 ones wasn't working for me so here's a direct link.

    http://www.meelec.com/MEE_MEE_P_What_p/earphone-meep-what.ht…

    • The P version link was buried and hard to find.
I got one of each as I could use the non-mic ones for my handheld DAB+ or my laptop/netbook.

      Great deal.
Will post results of what headphones when they arrive (I'm sure that it will take way longer than 1 week for USPS International First Class Mail)

      • Shouldn't take that long. I bought some on black Friday, received them the following Thurs.

  • fingers cross for the sport ones. thanks OP

  • Just wanted to say these guys have great customer service. Back in July, the earphone casing came apart on a pair I had bought and they sent me out another pair. Few days ago that replacement pair they sent had the same thing happen and I emailed them and they've just sent me another pair of a different model.

  • I got the below one from a tip from a chap at whirlpool for sports stuff, gym, cycling etc. The only in ear stuff that actually doesn't fall out(with the range of interchangeable buds). Also waterproof since I sweat like a pig into them sometimes.

Not as good as HD202 for sound, but definitely ideal for being active. Pretty decent sound actually.

  • Ordered 2 pairs for $25, great price.

  • I bought the m16 and m31 as part of cyber Monday. Both lack clarity when compared to my ue600.. but for the price they are OK. Just don't expect great sound. M16 is good for gym and jogging. M31 does have nice bass

  • Bought a couple of the P series. Hoping for M6 and M31 :D
    Thanks OP

    • +2

The P series one doesn't include the M6, it has the M9 instead. The OP doesn't indicate that.

  • Bought. Thanks OP

  • I tried the coupon code and it doesn't work?!? Coupon code "WOWMEE" is not valid. Is anyone else getting this? For those that had bought, what/how did you put through?

    • Follow the Direct links in the OP.
      It is still working perfectly.

I've found these excellent for the price - however, have not been impressed by the P versions with microphones. The mics work very well, but are a significant point of failure - the mic is not covered by warranty and breaks very easily. Inside the plastic housing there's a couple of copper wires soldered to a board, and it is very easy to crack the housing or break the copper wires. Been more impressed with the brainwav mics.

    • Agree, the mics can be woeful. I bought a few M11P+ when they had a two for one sale and there is so much feedback from the wire to the buds into the mic that the person on the other end of the call can hear them self better than me.

My M6P mic seems to be reasonable, but not as good as my UE400vi or Brainwavz M4.

  • Bought 2 lucky dips last time this deal was around..
    Got the SP51P and M11P
Both have quite good sound quality, right up there with the Sennheisers and Jays I've used before. However, the build quality and materials are not so great. My SP51P's cables were damaged at the remote/mic after about 5 months, rendering the left earpiece dead.
    Good for this price though
    Just my 2c

    • Agreed, my pair that I was using daily has become damaged also. The mic side now receives no audio. Tempted to buy another couple pairs just because they don't last long.. but I think I'll save my money for something better.

      • From what I've read they have great customer support - have you tried claiming warranty on them?

        • I have not but according to their site the do not cover the cable itself and unfortunately the earpieces still work perfectly well when they do get audio.

"This limited warranty does not cover ear tips, accessories, batteries, or headphone cable."

        • I'd still give it a crack - they shouldn't fail under that short period of time. Can't hurt to send them an email and ask!

  • hmm people seem to be saying it might be better to get the non-mic / P versions as that is where at lot of problems arise? Is that true? Only catch is the mic option is more useful in a way.

    • The non-mic versions are not necessarily any better. Just the mic might not be great quality if you use it for phone calls.

  • I bought a M4 from MP4 Nation during their sale about a month ago. I still haven;t received it (on backorder). Should I cancel and take the risk with these lucky dips?

I really need a pair of quality earphones within the next week,.

  • Received an M16P today. Tried them on various devices and definitely sounds worse than generic stock earbuds even with some equalizer tuning. I guess for the price, it's good as a backup.

  • I got the M9P today,
Haven't tried them on but glad I didn't get the M16P

  • Got an M16P and an M31P
M31s are great, havent opened M16P yet, but after reading impossibru's comment, I might as well regift them now… :3

  • Got the M6 and M9P.
Used the M9P tonight and its pretty good sound.
Problem is they don't have volume control and the call button can be pressed quite easily.
But their easily worth the <$15 delivered for them.

  • How many of you shedded blood opening the packaging?

  • Received M16P and M31P today; haven't heard it yet.
Waiting for my Brainwavz M3 to die out first

  • M31's - decent at low volume, sound is kind annoying high. Not very warm, I think most people wouldn't have complaints with them but I'm not 100% of the sound it gives. If you listen to stuff with a lot of vocals and minimal instruments these are great, as soon as someone starts smacking a drum or shredding a guitar the sound starts to annoy me. Packaging is really nice, you even get a little carry case.

M16's - left earphone is broken, can't really give much of a review with only one side working :(

Just want to add that I think for the price the m31's are really good, most people use stock headphones and don't realize how bad they can be, m31's would be a massive upgrade and $10 would be a nice price for most people.
