    It's old stock hence the sell off. Another disadvantage is the lack of passthrough, using up one power point.

    Lack of pass though and the units are really bulky. Too thick to put behind a flat mount TV and when plugging into a dual power outlet it obscures both the second outlet. For the price it was a lazy way to get internet to my garage without having to run cat6 or get in the roof.

      Usually OK with powerboards WITHOUT surge protection.
