Came across this whilst looking for gaming monitor deals.
Not what I'm after being 60Hz but a good price if you have access to the Samsung Goverment Portal.

the usb-c 65w power delivery and usb hub make it useful as a monitor.
I have an older model 32” m70b and it’s been great.
But the VA panel at 32” is dim at the sides when sitting at a desk. With a 43” screen it would be very dim
I have one of these smaller size samsung smart monitor in the office and i think the only reason it cant be called a TV is that it doesnt have a FTA tuner on it so you cant watch your FTA using an aerial connection. You can still watch it using each of the FTA apps through the internet if that suits you.
Most department have a policy not use government emails for discounts.
You use your own email for the purchase. They just send an email to the government email with a link to validate that you are a government employee. Same for all the samsung corporate partner portals.

Can the monitor’s height be adjusted? I’m looking to upgrade from my Dell P3421(IPS) that I use for software dev. I’m considering Dell U43 or Philips 439P1 (VA), both with integrated KVM. Thanks
Will it be practical to have a 43 inch monitor on your desk?
If your desk has the space and you can sit the required distance from it, definitely. The 42" OLEDs are popular for this very reason.
