  • Great deal, anyone used the site before? To confirm its reputable?

  • A bargain for someone who has a 4th gen ipod. I've never heard of Focal Price before, but their website reminds me of Deal Extreme.

  • i did this about a month ago. yep its legit, but it actually costs $0.02 AUD (what a rip off ?!?!? - hehehehe)

    fast postage. (faster than DX)

  • I did a bit of net research on trustworthy PC forums.
People said that they bought these screen protectors off the website, and did recieve them.

    So its probably safe.

Although as someone mentioned "hmm i'd be very wary no abn number, st address or contact phone number. Only way of contacting them is via email and 'live help'..looks dodgy"

Also they are selling creative headphones for like $5. Which are obvious fakes. So i wouldnt trust them totally. But maybe safe if you go through paypal?

Its up to you guys. Im not gonna bother. Deal extreme has them for a bit more, but at least you can trust them?

  • I bought one of these earlier from this website at the same price. It was for a 5th gen nano. Shipping was quick and you can pay by paypal… not much to lose.

  • As a previous customer of Focal Price I can comment that they are cheap, fast and the service is good. I bought some stupidly cheap solar powered branded keyrings, one if which arrived DOA, a single email exchange later and a replacement was on the way, no fuss, they didn't even want to broken one back.

Couldn't ask for more than that.

  • : Does Focalprice.com pay the return shipping cost for defective products?

No, Focalprice.com does not pay the return shipping cost for defective products. We are not responsible for product defects, because we do not manufacture the products we carry. However, if you pay to send the item back to Focalprice.com, we will replace the item and ship the replacement to you without charge. Focalprice.com will employ every resource it has to ensure that your item is replaced promptly, without hassle.

ie. They can ship what ever rubbish they want.

  • I've used them before…got about 5 diff items and paid about $50 all up…fast delivery, they did ship the wrong screen protector for my nano 3rd gen (got the iphone one instead), contacted them about two months ago and havent heard back sine, they only cost $1.50, so it wasn't much of a loss =D

  • Don't even own an iPod yet and I ordered one! :D

  • heathsouter> correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that site an American site? therefore wouldn't $0.01US round off to $0.02AUD?

Oh and the Nintendo DS games they're selling at ridiculously cheap prices are clearly fakes/counterfeits. Cases and stickers are dodgy

So there's more likely more fake stuff on that site

    • $0.02 Australian…that's what he said didn't he? :)

As with the DS games, looks like they're about $20 US normal price so they aren't that much cheaper.

      • Yeah he said "but it actually costs $0.02 AUD (what a rip off ?!?!? - hehehehe)" but what I'm saying is that it always did cost $0.02AUD after the conversion and that it still cost him $0.01USD and so he didn't get ripped off. Just that he thought he was getting it for $0.01AUD

lol so much detail all for 1c

  • i wonder how much paypal fees they get charged when i pay them 0.02 … o.0

    • prob 20c if you use a credit card.

      • I've heard their boss smokes $5 dollar notes at smoko.

  • how can you guys afford ipods?

    • are you kidding me…. a negative for that.

    • WTF that commment has contributed nothing to this conversation. I SAY BAN HIM/HER!

Seriously, I got one of these when they last had them and if there the same ones, they are pretty useless, because the rubber also covers the click wheel, making it less responsive. This is almost unnoticable when choosing music, but as soon as you play a game, it is really frustrating!

Still for 1c, get it, as when you wish to sell it one day, you can say "it comes with a BRAND NEW protector case!"

  • What?? you have to pay a credit card fee?? rip off!

    • -1

      dude… are you serious!?!!

      • Yes because I'm on a budget

        • -1

          haha!

          • @RushfasterAu: You are a idiot for not being on a budget. I bet this person rents, the only thing in their name is their car, which they are probably paying off a loan with 12% interest, and mock people who are on "budgets".

      • vankatwijk - Why have you given this a negative vote? You haven't justified your vote at all. $0.02 for an ipod cover - what is wrong with that?

        • -1

it's obviously a deal to get you to give them your details so they can market to you. it's a product made for just this reason and the product looks pretty crappy anyway. it's obvious.

          • @RushfasterAu: Or maybe, just maybe, they sell this product below cost, at a loss, then they get free advertising (from this site at least) and maybe they gain extra long term customers that purchase several items in the future. I know that this idea is soooo revolutionary (please, hear my sarcasm) so maybe its just too crazy! A website, dealextreme also sells items with are at cost or maybe below (eg $US 2, for ipod earphones) but as a result of those items i have probably spent a few hundred in the last few years. So yea, this is called a PROMOTION (say it with me, vankatwijk). Also I purchased this for 1c in Sept and I have never recieved an email from the company, bar payment confirmations and shipping details. Also I don't think they have sold my email, as junk mail hasn't noticeably increased.

  • Link was error…Can't add to cart!

  • Ive bought from them before, they have been fast at processing orders and shipping it to me. My order for the 4th gen was sent out today!!

  • CHEERS!

  • i cannot go to this website, don't know what happen!
