If you bought from the last offer on 16 Oct, then you won't be able to get cashback for this offer as 30 days haven't passed.

      • +2

I didn't buy it last month. So, I can buy this today ;-)

    • Yes :)

    • Have you ever tried sending a PM to TA?

      • +10

No. He's upset because of this thread. Shame really.

          • +6

@Nand0sx: You've never had a missing cashback claim, have plenty of successful transactions, and just made a nice withdrawal. Yep, TCB is terrible lol. Sounds like trolling to me. Cheers.

              • +5

@Nand0sx: I truly feel for you and I hope you wake up a better person tomorrow. Life is way too short. Take care.

                  • +1

@Nand0sx: Relax, you seem more uptight about a cashback company than you do your own personal life. The internet seems like a dangerous place for you and you should get off it.

                  • +1

@Nand0sx: Bruh, TA didn’t get THIS far by misleading ppl esp OzBers..
Take a deep breath, get off those nandos chooks, pray, go to sleep, wake up a better hooman tmr. Oyasumi~

                • @tightarse: lol salty people can’t be pleased. Enjoy your weekend and don’t worry about idiots.

                • @tightarse: TA is the most trusted person on OzBargain. He personally helped me a few times!

          • +1

            @Nand0sx: PEBCAK

    • +2

      Maybe you confused with Shopback

      • yep, ive had small non-tracking issues with TCB but raising a ticket sorts the issue. SB just randomly denies cashbacks all the time for unspecified reasons and i wont be using them again

    • TA has kindly rectified the issue and provided evidence of support to you.

I have claimed over $2k worth of cashback alone within less than one year of account creation with TopCashback.

You went against the T&Cs of having multiple cashback accounts with TopCashback and the onerous is on you. Please stop spreading false claims and accusations without proofs on your end.

    • +1

In addition to my comment above, I had BWS order from 30 July untracked, forgot about it and created a ticket 12 Sept. TCB submitted claim to BWS on 20 Sept, and just this morning my claim was approved and my account credited with the missing cashback directly Payable.
Another example, 15 Sept ordered 3 items via AliExpress, 1 bigger 2 smaller items. The 2 smaller items tracked but the 1 bigger didn’t. Raise a ticket 25 Sept, TCB submitted claim to retailer on 6 Nov, and together with the BWS above turned Payable, this AE too turned Payable straight away, eventho the other 2 smaller txns tracked back in 15 Sept still stay Pending.
More than happy with the outcome! and this is without even involving @tightarse the most helpful Rep on Ozb, ever.
So before you start spouting nonsense and inaccurately and derogatively accuse someone else, please reevaluate what you yourself may have done wrong.
Have a blessed day mate and hope you find peace.

Hasn't been 30 days since the last purchase, unfortunately :(

I'm yet to get my first cashback as well so a bit hesitant to put down another $150 for now but we shall see in a week if the offer is still here.

    • Is the first cashback you're referring to from 23rd Aug? If yes, then I'm also in the same boat and waiting for that cashback to become Payable. Hopefully this month sometimes if estimated payable of 14 weeks is correct.

      • nope I only did it on the last offer on 16 October

        • Oh ok lol. Well in that case, now you know you might need to wait up to 14 weeks to get that cashback! My purchase from 23rd Aug is currently at 11 weeks and counting.

          • @Alinnia: I wish they did it faster :(

Such a shame it tracks and they STILL can't give us the cashback yet. I'm sure it's a combination of budgeting and reporting and things as to when it gets paid but it is a shame.

            • +2

              @just-human:

I wish they did it faster :(

So do we! We push retailers for faster approvals all the time. Some budge, others don’t. It’s something we discuss on almost daily, and hopefully it’s gets better soon 🙏

              • @tightarse: Hope so too TA, glad to know it's something you're working on. Not such a big deal on these but on the Boost ones it would be nice so I can remove the number from my Boost account.

                • +2

@just-human: Will make a point of checking Boost early next week to see if we can expedite. Enjoy the weekend :)

          • +2

@Alinnia: I too am waiting from August. Status changed to confirmed on October 4 but not payable yet

  • I've had a few untracked purchases trying TCB but i figured i would give this one a go and screen recorded the process if needed.

Fingers crossed as my surfshark (that i bought for cashback with cashrewards and didn't track, RIP) is running out soon.

    • Hi. Fortunately with VPN purchases you have the luxury of cancelling within 30 days for a full refund if for whatever reason, the purchase doesn’t track. It’s a far better alternative than lodging a claim as then you’re at the mercy of the retailer’s analytics. I’ll drop the tips below that I leave in most of my posts to help with tracking. Good luck!

For tracking success, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from TopCashbackAU as tracking will be lost. TopCashbackAU must be the very last click/tap prior to purchase. Try our iOS/Android mobile app for improved tracking results. Use our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions, issues, or claims.

      • If using the iOS mobile app, do I need to do any settings on my Safari (assuming links on the app redirect to a browser, and my iPhone only has Safari as its browser)? I've only used you guys twice for Amazon and both tracked fine but I was using microsoft edge with no extensions. Would be down to try the app if, as you stated, has better tracking results.

        • Hi. Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).

          • @tightarse: Wow this is news to me. Mine was on upon checking just now. But safari is not my default browser by setting, Chrome is. I have been using the iOS app all the time, does it mean the in-app browser is Safari? Most of my trackings has been great but there is a couple missed ones here and there which I’ve raised ticket for and has been met with positive results from the CS letting me know this morning my claims have resulted in my missing cashback approved and straight away payable, even before the other older ones or orders placed at the same time turned Payable. Ok now I have turned it off and hope for 100% tracking going forward! Thanks again TA bloody legend, have a blessed weekend 🙏

            • +1

@noelhoi: Apps that use browsere always use default browser so chrome in your case, and any plugins on default browser are not loaded in when an app accesses/uses the default browser.

              • @HopSkipJumpFallSplat: Actually, TCB app for me on Android just straightup loads my default browser w/ plugins when going to the merchant, if an app uses a browser incorporated into app, then it loads in without plugins.

          • @tightarse: Thanks! Double checked that setting you mentioned and just put through my order while taking a screen recording. Hopefully it tracks soon!

            • @Haunt: Let us know how it goes!

              • @tightarse: Tracked after exactly 46 minutes with the correct amount! Do you have an ETA as to when the cashback will be payable? I can't seem to find that info anywhere aside from comments in this thread.

                • @Haunt: Awesome news! The estimated approval period is found only on desktop and mobile browsers. It will come to a future release of the app. If you click the “+” next to the order in your earnings page, you’ll see it. Please note however it’s just an estimate. We’re working with our retailers to try speed approvals up. Hope this helps 😊

                  • @tightarse: Legend! Thank you for being the best rep on OzB! Saw it now on the website using my PC, 14 weeks!

      • I appreciate that! It did track this time :)

        • 👍

  • If 130% cashback for 2 year plans, why would anyone select a monthly or 1y plan. Feel like I'm missing something here…

    • Maybe they don't have the money right now and only have a couple bucks left to spare but still want to get in on the fun. If the cashback were instant of course this is a no-brainer for everyone.

  • +1

I'm still waiting for August cashback! Confirmed but not paid

  • @tightarse is cashback also payable on add-ons too? Like dedicated IP

    • +2

Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will exclude upsold products, GST, other taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.

  • I’ve had 1 out of 4 purchases track automatically, all other times I had to submit a ticket.

The one that successfully tracked also tracked an incorrect amount and I had to submit a ticket for that too.

TCB feels unreliable, but if you keep track of it yourself and submit those tickets you’ll get your cashback.

  • Id stay away from topcashback personally. Too many negative comments.
Cashrewards and shopback have been solid so far for me.

    • @Phonkmaster55 Just curious as to why you would say that about TopCashback because on 31/10/24, you wrote this on a TopCashback post:

      Bought and tracked. Thanks
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/15866495/redir

tightarse was the rep for Cashrewards and is now the new rep for TopCashback. As you may be aware, tightarse is very helpful and responsive should there be any issues with your TopCashback purchases.

Great to hear of your success with Cashrewards and ShopBack. I use all 3 cashback providers. ShopBack seems to be the most unreliable with tracking for me.

      P.S. I didn't neg you.

  • Is this VPN any good? I'm with PIA and my plan finishes up in a couple of days. Obviously I'll take the cashback, but want a reliable VPN as well.

    • +2

for me purevpn is an absolute pain, their relentless work their emails, up selling, etc. speeds have been so so. i still reckon nord is the best of the cheapies.

      • Thank you. I think I'm going to go with Nord because I got the impression they were the best. I use VPN a lot, so don't want to penny pinch to save a few bucks if it's going to be a hassle.

  • +1

In 2017, PureVPN provided information to Federal Bureau of Investigation agents that helped result in the arrest of a Massachusetts man for cyberstalking.[14] The company concluded that the man had accessed PureVPN through two IP addresses: one from home and one from work.[14] Max Eddy of PC Magazine noted that the company's privacy policy says it will cooperate with investigators who give them a proper warrant and concluded, "In the case of PureVPN, it doesn't appear that the company breached the trust of its users".[14] TechRadar's Mike Williams disagreed, writing that PureVPN "made a big deal of its 'zero log' policy" on its website but did keep logs that enabled investigators to link the man to what he did on the service.[5]

  • @tightarse…If I opt for a 2 year plan ($ 2.96/mo), the same is Billed USD 89.95 on first purchase. So will I get 130% cashback on USD 89.95? Can anyone kindly clarify?

  • +1

'Purely' only signing up for a CB supported by @tightarse.
Any nord vpn deal coming up @tightarse?

    • +3

Hi. Yes, just don't have the dates locked in yet but should be some time this month.

      • Waiting for this as I have "a sweetener trick" for anyone to use with this deal ;-) and help to boost new customers :)

Hint: no ads and no need for adblocker :)

I have the same thought about this question, then someone asked this :)

Hoping for 100% cashback or more if possible.

  • Any history of people not getting paid? To your to be true and all that.

  • do this default auto renewal ?

  • +1

I purchased the 2 year plan, paid $160.05, received $210.67 cashback payable in 14 weeks

    • use visa slap with ~$168 no fee.
      What payment you use?

    • Have you been paid? Or you praying to be paid?

  • So how can I check if my account is already verified?

  • I am having a hard time with Topcashback, I purchased tickets from Klook via TopCashback 2 transactions and both rejected. Now I can even raise 2 claims for the 2 transactions. 😡

    • Hey there, and thanks so much for responding to my PM. As confirmed, your KLOOK purchases were both declined ($0 cashback) as a code was used at checkout for discount. Unfortunately most retailers don't allow code use unless specifically listed on TopCashback. All the best :)

  • Has anyone else have their cashback amount tracked completely incorrect and far less than what you paid, let alone with the offer bonus?
I had mine tracked at 209aud or something while it cost around 300aud

    • +2

Did you sign up for the 5 year plan or select any add ons? They aren’t eligible for cashback.

    • +1

What plan did you buy, was it 2yr plan or 5yr plan, did you add any extra services/addons to the plan?

Sounds like you added extra addons, best not to place any orders when under the influence of morphiine.

    • +1

Mine tracked correctly. $AUD 162 purchase, $210 cashback. Max plan for 2 yrs.

If you made a purchase equivalent to $300, what service did you buy? Only 1 or 2yr plans eligible, no add-ons.

      • Same for me. Purchase tracked at $AUD 162 with $210 cashback on the max plan for 2 years. My card has a charge of $AUD 167

        • My card has $172 cashback. Would it be different from others who as reporting it at $167 due to different bank's card?

          • @dealsgrabber:

            My card has $172 cashback

You mean you where billed $172 Aud?
That'll be international transaction fee differences between different bank/payment cards/methods.

            • @HopSkipJumpFallSplat: Yes, billed $172. How long does it take to track? Been 10 minutes but hasn't tracked yet.

              • @dealsgrabber: My experiences with TCB tracking has been fast, usually about 30ish mins, at 10mins I wouldn't be worrying about tracking, give it time, it should come in(tracking).

And if it doesn't, you have 2 options, 30 days to cancel for refund, or raise a missing cashback ticket after 7days, in this offer I'd cancel for refund and See here, not order again for 30 days.

              • @dealsgrabber: PureVPN is taking around 60 minutes to track, but could take up to 3 hours depending on API ping. If it doesn’t track today, I’d definitely choose cancellation as it’s way too much money to wager on a claim. And anyway, you have 31 days to decide per their free cancellation terms. Let us know how you go. Cheers.

                • @tightarse: Thanks TA, will wait to see if it tracks today. I hope so, don't want to lose the profit.

                  • @dealsgrabber: Hi again. I have your TCB details from a previous enquiry and can see the order tracked into your account at 17:08 AEDT 👍

    • +1

Ah yes, y'all are right… just checked.. port forwarding add on.. don't even know how to use it… just cancelled it

      • +1

Please note that if you cancelled the transaction and you have a tracked order in your TCB account, you can't but again for 30 days irrespective.

        • +2

Again, Damn, still stepping up and dealing with us on a Saturday, let alone your Tues off day you stepped up for, deferring very well deserved time off til Wed and then still stepping up on Wed.
