They are activated at Coles after you pay. The checkout takes a while processing the activations and prints out the receipt after this is done.

  • I would have went with this one but sadly the Epix Pro 47mm is to big on my wrist. Felt uncomfortable when trying the mockup at Rebel.

I went for a Fenix 8 43mm Saphire and got it for $1386 using the current BUPA Life Rewards offer that is increased to 25% off atm. Ended up being a 462$ discount from RRP so pretty happy. Even if a Black Friday deal comes around I don’t think they discount the Fenix 8 much yet as it is too new.

That offer from Bupa Life Rewards only runs till tomorrow if anyone else is keen. After that it’s the regular 15%.

    • Out of curiosity, what's your wrist circumference?

      • +1

165mm roughly. I currently have a forerunner 265 which is lug to lug right on the edge of the wristbone. The 47mm lug to lug goes above it and hence looks weird and wobbles around.

    • I remember when the Bupa discount used to stack on discounted products. Sucks you can only use on full price these days.

      • Yeah true. Would be awesome if one could apply it to the 1-2 year old models that are a bit cheaper. But because they are still having their original RRP assigned to it in the shop it doesn’t allow it.

Still the 25% off on a Fenix 8 is the best I have seen around until now.

  • Anyone know how long this price is around for at JB and Amazon?

    • Rebel is running until the 15th of Jan. Even if JB and Amazon end earlier they will likely match.
I just grabbed some TCN GF's and will grab one the week before Xmas so I get the longest warranty I can.

  • I am tossing between Epix pro and HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Pro 46 mm. Has anyone got any suggestions?
NFC doesn't work on Huwavie but looks more attractive.

Thank you. Got 1 51mm Epix pro gen 2 from Amazon for "free change of mind returns until Jan 31st". Was tossing about the sizing, even though with a smaller wrist, 47mm and 51mm dont seem too far apart in size. Moreover will test it out to see if it works with me.

In a similar boat. Went into JB to compare and felt like the 51mm looked like a monster, as a result went the 47mm

    • +2

I just picked up the 51mm from Rebel with TCN cards for $850, plus Rebel active $50 credit.

Also don't have big wrists. 47mm looked better, but 51mm was not too chunky, so the bigger battery won.

      • Received the 51mm today and am pleased with the sizing. It sits well on my wrist, say 16.8cm. Will test out functions, and have polar h10 strap, so will also keep an eye how the rest hrm is, as well as when in training separately. It is my first Garmin and if I see it fitting my lifestyle, I will keep it. I reckon 51mm was the ideal choice for me. BTW if anyone knows good screen protectors for 51mm ? I will order some straps from AE.

any good deals on Fenix 7 pro Sapphire? i want to buy another for wife.
I got one a year ago for $999, but the deals are the same now. I was hoping they would be better with the new 8 release.
